The Cherished Wife (Noelle and Charles) novel Chapter 890

Hearing Tania's words, it was clear that she was protecting Trevon. Since Tania had spoken so highly of him, Henry and Nancy did not say much more—especially with Brandon there.

Regardless of who Brandon's father was, the child was undeniably charming, and both Henry and Nancy were quite fond of him.

They spent some more time talking at the hospital, but Nancy, feeling concerned about Tania having just returned, worried that she might be tired. Hence, she asked Noelle to take Tania home.

On the way back, Noelle called Charles. He had just finished his work and said he would be heading home shortly. He asked what Noelle wanted for dinner, so Noelle glanced over at Tania and asked, "Ms. Tania, do you have any dietary restrictions?"

"I'm not picky," Tania replied, shaking her head. "Is that Charles?"

"Yeah, Charlie's almost done with work. He said he'll cook dinner when he gets home," Noelle explained.

"Charles can cook?" Tania asked, somewhat surprised. She then continued, "By the way, since you've married Charles... How are the Hoffmans taking it?"

Noelle's grip on the steering wheel tightened slightly, but she still managed to smile. "Yeah, they know."

Tania nodded in understanding, though she could sense there was more to the story. However, from how her parents treated Noelle, it seemed they liked her. "Thank you for taking care of my parents over the past six months."

"It's what I should do. Uncle Henry and Aunt Nancy are really good people," Noelle replied, then remembered Charles was still on the phone.

"Charlie, Ms. Tania says she's not picky, so just get whatever you think is best. Oh, and don't forget to get some snacks for Brandon… I mean, Ms. Tania's son."

After hanging up, Noelle glanced at Tania.
