The Darling of the Paranoid Tycoon by Cheryl Rice novel Chapter 105

Chapter 105

“Delbert, are you alright?” Harriet’s concern for Delbert grew.

But Delbert remained silent. In the darkness, only his eagle’s eyes.

were visible, staring at her intently.

With a swift motion of his hand, Harriet’s clothes fell to the ground, revealing her fair, delicate skin..

Harriet couldn’t comprehend what was happening with Delbert. She instinctively shielded herself with her hands, trembling as she gazed at him, his cold demeanor reminiscent of a demon’s.

Delbert didn’t utter a word. His face turned pale, and his imposing figure overwhelmed her..

His actions were filled with violence, possession, and obsession.

Harriet could only belong to him.

It was only when he saw her tear-filled eyes reflecting pain that he shuddered, snapping back to reality.

He looked down at Harriet’s face, which had lost all its color. His

heart skipped a beat.

What had he done?

Coming back to his senses, he gazed down at Harriet. Remorse and pain were written in his eyes.

That day in the woods, he had overheard Harriet calling him “Delbie.” He thought she had regained her memory.

But when she woke up, she still referred to him as “Delbert,” crushing

Moreover, he discovered that Vernon had intentionally sabotaged his relationship with Harriet. Despite her denials, he didn’t believe her, and he ended up hurting her repeatedly.

All these events combined to cause him to lose his sanity. The

obsession he had barely kept in check resurfaced, leading him to lose. control and hurt his beloved once again.

He was filled with regret.

After tucking her in with a quilt, he traced his hand down Harriet’s beautiful face and lingered on her eyebrows, as if trying to soothe her worries and pain.

He murmured, “Yvonne, when will you recognize me?”

His words echoed in the vast room, unanswered.

Some matters needed to be addressed.

He was determined to prevent a recurrence of that day’s events.

A fierce and destructive glint flashed in Delbert’s eyes.

‘Very well! Nora and Vernon, you will pay for deceiving me!’ He thought, unlocking his phone to text Cory.

“Tell those in Imperium to move ahead of schedule. We’ll spare neither the Munoz family nor the Morton family!”

He was resolved to make Vernon and Nora pay manifold for their deceit.

The following morning, golden sunlight streamed into the room, bathing it in a warm glow.

Harriet opened her sleepy eyes, only to be greeted by Delbert’s

chiseled face.

She couldn’t help but admire his handsome features. Waking up to this sight every morning filled her with joy.

However, recalling his wild antics from the previous night, she felt a strong urge to reprimand him, despite his good looks.

Otherwise, would he continue to treat her like a ragdoll, disregarding her physical well-being?

Harriet attempted to shift her body slightly, striving to escape Delbert’s hold.

She must have been exhausted from the previous night’s ordeal, and Delbert was sound asleep.

In sleep, he appeared quite docile, a stark contrast to his usual aloof

demeanor.

In her previous life, she had been terrified of him, but now, she found his obedience endearing.
