Lucas was looking down at his phone, flipping through files. He never expected Sherman and Melody to have so much to talk about. They were deep in conversation when Thalia knocked on the door to Melody's room.
Melody looked somewhat curious toward the door. 'Why are so many people coming to see me today?'
However, her smile faltered when she saw who it was.
"Hi there, Melody. Sorry to bother you again. I hope my presence here won't cause you too much trouble. Lucas is taking me back, so I figured I'd just come here."
Melody kept her smile, though it had faded. "Ah, I see. Of course, it's no trouble at all. My scene is already over. You two can head back first if you want," said Melody.
Thalia looked at Lucas coquettishly, but there was also a hint of impatience in her eyes as well.
However, Sherman showed no intention of leaving, so how could Lucas even think about leaving?
"I'm not in a hurry. It's almost lunchtime, anyway. Let's grab a meal together," Lucas suggested, glancing at his watch.
"Yeah, it's about time for lunch," Sherman agreed.
Sherman was surprised to see Thalia. 'When did she come back?'
However, Thalia did not seem surprised to see him there because she did not recognize him.
"By the way, who's this gentleman here?"
Thalia glanced at Lucas instinctively, and Lucas simply uttered two words, "My cousin."
"Oh, so you're Lucas' cousin. Nice to meet you," said Thalia.

This book is getting boring now. I loved Jeremy, Corinne, Sonny and Lucas. The story needs to end. or bring back more of Jeremy, etc....
I haven't skipped any chapter at all. Though the story is good, it keeps going back to base one. I think this has no ending at all and somehow after reading more than 2500 chapters it's kinda tiring already. They have drained all the thrills....
Great writing! I almost cried when Helen hit Melody! So sad! 😭 can’t wait to see how the relationship with her and Lucas develops though. So tired of the repetitive problems with different people....

my heart breaks for melody, so many ups and downs, i shed a few tears when lucas walked by melody carrying thalia, and melody stayed quiet while watching them leave. i find myself getting into character as if im one. i dont remember ever feeling like that in any other books. im thankful the 10 chapters/day. waiting for the next 10...
