The Day I Kissed An Older Man novel Chapter 2522

"I don't know what you're talking about. You promised me that you'd give up on Lucas, so you better keep your word," Beatrice said, pushing past Thalia to leave.

"Where are you going?" asked Thalia.

Beatrice, being older, could not match the speed and strength of Thalia. She stumbled and felt some discomfort in her arm when Thalia pulled her. She had probably sprained her arm.

"I suggest you don't push your luck! This is my home, so I can go wherever I please. You, a guest, shouldn't act so cocky! Aren't you afraid that I'll call Lucas over?"

Thalia did not care if Beatrice called Lucas over. After all, she had nothing to lose anymore. Moreover, they were in a corner where anyone rarely came over.

Thus, sometimes living in a mansion also came with its own headache. With such a large mansion the Riveras lived in, Thalia was confident that no one would discover it immediately even if she did something to Beatrice there and then.

"Call him over if you're confident you can. Why waste your breath with me here? Weren't you the one who used to look down on me the most? How come you'd rather argue with me now?"

Thalia suddenly got a rush of vindictiveness at seeing Beatrice—who had always made it known to her how much she despised her—acting all meek in front of her.
