Chapter 1918 No Conscience
There were just four people in the room.
The assistant was looking for a medical kit on the side, so Kirsi was definitely not talking to her.
That meant that Kirsi was directing it to Julie and Nicole.
Nicole blinked and looked back at Kirsi.
Sure enough, Kirsi raised her eyes to look at them. Or to be precise, she was looking at Nicole.
Kirsi moved her lips with some difficulty.
“Lumi said that you guys are good friends. I’m so envious of her because no matter what I become, I can’t be friends with everyone without any worries like her.”
The assistant at the side sensed Kirsi’s depressed mood and hurriedly came over with the medical kit.
“Kirsi, don’t say anything first. Just explain later…”
Kirsi stopped her. “You can leave first. I want to talk to them.”
The assistant hesitated for a while but still left in the end.
Nicole stood there. “What do you want to say? If you have the time, why didn’t you explain it to your sister?”
Kirsi lowered her head and let out a light laugh.
“I will, but I know that you guys have seen me and Samuel together. I just want to make it clear that it’s purely coincidental.”
Julie looked away and did not believe her at all.
Nicole said, “Why didn’t all these ‘coincidences’ happen to others but you? It truly is coincidental, huh?”.
Kirsi gritted her teeth and spoke.
“I already let go of that relationship when they got married. I was resentful and unwilling before. I hated myself for being Kirsi and not Lumi. I hated that my father was always biased. Did you think that I didn’t know that they were getting married? At that time, I was at a low point in my career, and I was toyed around by Samuel, so I was living in fear the entire time. You guys think that I have no conscience, but who in the entire Makinen family, besides Lumi, has one?”

The readers' comments on the novel: The Divorced Billionaire Heiress
I liked this book and wanted to read it. As I have moved into the chapters, I have found that it is unreadable due to typographical errors, including sentences that are incomplete, complete gibberish, missing elements. This is not just some misspelled words. It is actually unreadable. If you decide to fix this, let me know and I will read it....
