Chapter 2041
Clayton took a deep look at her, and his chest was very dull. He looked at the snow-white skin on Nicole’s chest. His eyes darkened, and he pulled the thin blanket on the side to cover her.
Clayton: “Wait, let’s have dinner together at night.”
Nicole smiled and watched him walk out with a dark face.
Inexplicably, She feel better.
Listening to him outside, she snorted coldly in a bad tone: “I thought you didn’t even knock on the door when the earthquake happened?”
.
Nicole stretched, tidied up her clothes, and lay back down.
After a while, she fell asleep in a daze. When she wake up again, it’s getting dark.
It was dark night outside the curtains. It took her a while to react before she remembered where this place was.
She heard a faint movement outside, which lowered the voice. It was Clayton who deliberately lowered his voice to speak on the phone.
Nicole went down barefoot and looked down through the floor-to-ceiling windows.
The road fed by the neon lights was like a silent dragon, dazzling and dark, winding all the way to the end.
After Clayton finished the phone call, he looked at no one on the bed and was stunned for a moment.
Then looked at Nicole standing there.
He turned on the lights. The light instantly filled the entire room.
Nicole turned back.
Clayton smiled, “Finally woke up? Can you still fall asleep at night?”
Nicole stretched and spread her arms to act like a spoiled child: “Yes, you can coax me.”
Clayton walked over and picked her up and put her away. When he got to the bed, he touched her feet, and was relieved when he didn’t feel cold.
“Thinking beautifully, I wish you couldn’t sleep.” Clayton smiled meaningfully. His eyes dimmed.
Nicole looked away, pretending she didn’t see it. She remember exactly what happened before she went to sleep.
If something really happened here, how could she show up in the future?
Clayton almost lost his mind because of her beauty.
Fortunately, Nicole figured it out in time.
However, Clayton knew that now was not the time, so he helped her put on her shoes and took her out of the company.
Nicole swept around, “why was there no one?”
Although the lights were bright, there was not even a single person working overtime.
Nicole glanced at Clayton: “Where’s the person?”
Clayton pointed to his watch: “It’s off work.”
Nicole said, “Your company is so humane? Does anyone work overtime? Don’t you earn overtime pay?”
Clayton smiled and glanced at her: “I think it’s the same as you. It’s easy to squeeze employees. Our company is humanized. Overtime is absolutely not recommended. Unless they volunteer to contribute to the company, I will never force it.”
Nicole tugged. The corner of her mouth, this high-sounding hypocrite, how can Clayton shape himself so perfectly!
When their company worked overtime, she even asked her aunt to make soup and send it over.
Seeing Nicole roll her eyes, Clayton smiled, put his arms around her shoulders and leaned on him: “It’s not because you are sleeping here, I don’t know when you will wake up, if others see it, you will give birth to me again. I’m angry.”
After Clayton explained this, Nicole thought about it.
She chuckled lightly: “Won’t it delay you from making money?”
Clayton glanced at her and said with a smile: “Then what will Miss Stanton pay me back?”
Nicole: “What do you think?”
“The meat compensation.” Clayton said hoarsely and smiled in a low voice.
Nicole’s face turned slightly red, and her footsteps couldn’t help but quicken.
Clayton was really getting more and more impolite.
After Clayton finished teasing her, he followed her slowly, with a warm smile in his eyes.

The readers' comments on the novel: The Divorced Billionaire Heiress
I liked this book and wanted to read it. As I have moved into the chapters, I have found that it is unreadable due to typographical errors, including sentences that are incomplete, complete gibberish, missing elements. This is not just some misspelled words. It is actually unreadable. If you decide to fix this, let me know and I will read it....
