The Divorced Billionaire Heiress novel Chapter 2573

Eric would not say that out loud.

He passed the cake to Chance and said indifferently, “Don’t eat sweets at night. Just look at it and don’t eat it.”

Chance could only see it but not taste it.

Chance froze slightly.

He immediately looked sad.

Selena twitched the corners of her mouth. Eric was such a Debbie downer.

She coughed and walked over. “Just take a small bite, but remember to brush your teeth and put the rest downstairs.”

Seeing that Eric did not object, Chance nodded happily.

Chance left. Selena looked at Eric, opened the door, and walked in holding his arm.

“Mr. Ferguson, are you making up the hours for all the medical leave that you took?”

The corners of Eric’s mouth rose slightly. He sounded a little helpless and innocent.

“There are too many things to do, so I had no choice. I will try to come back as soon as possible in the future.”

Eric thought Selena was worried about him because he came back too late. That was why she complained so much.

Such complaints sound extra heartwarming.

His originally bitter heart tasted a bit of sweetness.

Selena did not know that Eric’s eyes were healed.

Thus, she still took care of him when they were together.

However, Selena felt that Eric was a little strange these two days.

Eric put in extra effort in bed.

Of course, this was not a bad thing.

Selena felt tired, so she fell asleep.

When she got up the next day, she looked at her fingers first.

She was relieved when she saw the emptiness above her slender and clean fingers.

Eric finally did not make a fuss.

This matter was over.

Eric went to work as usual.

Selena had nothing to do, so she and Chaz went to see other locations for the bar.

After all, Selena did not want to just sit around and wait for the next two years.

They looked around and still preferred that same location near the Nelson Residence.

They liked it the more they looked at it perhaps because they could not get it.

In the end, Selena went there with Chaz and planned to fight for it again. It would still be acceptable even if the rent was raised a little.

Coincidentally, the owner of the shop lot, who had not shown up much before, was there with another client.

More than one person was interested in this location, so Selena suddenly felt a sense of crisis.

She exchanged a glance with Chaz and walked in as if nothing had happened.

The agent who entertained them did not come last time. A married couple came to see the lot.

Another younger woman also followed. Although she looked ordinary, she was very fashionable and well-dressed.

The woman looked familiar to Selena, so she stood at the door and unconsciously took a few more glances.

Selena wondered where she met this woman before.

The woman actually looked a bit impatient toward the couple, but she hid it well on the surface.

“I know you two are very busy people. Next time you come back, it might be with the agent, and the agent won’t offer you this price. My asking price is $6.5 million, which isn’t much. You can go back and think about it.”

The couple seemed hesitant. The wife then nodded, “Sure, Ms. Nelson. We’ll discuss it carefully.”
