“Yes,” Adrian said truthfully. 

“No wonder he looked shocked when I said that I had his number. Now I understand everything,” she 

murmured but the father–son duo heard her words. 

“Huh, how I wish I could see Gregory’s arrogant or embarrassed face when he finds out Antonio’s power and background,” she said with a chuckle as she imagined the scene. 

“Now that you know, what are you going to do?” Adrian asked in worry. 

“The two men met and they vowed that they will court me and see who I will fall in love with or who I will choose in the end. If it were before, I would have chosen Antonio cause I was worried about him but now that I know his true identity, there is no need for me to continue talking to him or even be close to him,” she said as she shook her head. 

Although the men were secretly wishing that she and Antonio would be together as when the two families joined forces they would be unstoppable, they didn’t dare say it thus they were a little disappointed but when they thought of Amanda’s happiness, the disappointment vanished. 

“I am going to my room to rest,” Amanda said as she walked upstairs leaving them there in their thoughts. 

Three months passed so quickly. 

In that time, Amanda stayed at her parent’s mansion and she would talk to her employees through Video 

calls and chats. 

Damien had tried to get through to Amanda to apologize but he couldn’t even go to the capital due to Antonio’s and Adrian’s power. 

“Amanda, what are you going to do with these flowers?” Arya asked as she saw Amanda walking downstairs. 

Amanda looked at the gifts in the living room and massaged her temple.

to me,” Amanda said making the people around look at her strangely. 

“What? Why are you guys looking at me?” she asked when she saw their strange behavior. 

Seeing that they were still quiet, she ignored them and walked towards the gifts. 

“Who sent this necklace?” Amanda asked as her eyes shone after opening the gifts. 

“Antonio,” Ariana answered as she walked from the music room. 

“It’s so beautiful but I still want something to eat,” Amanda said before placing it on the table and walking towards the kitchen. 

“I cooked you your favorite meals,” her aunt said as she walked out of the kitchen with a bowl on a 

tray. 

She knew that Amanda had a big appetite these days thus she cooked her favorite meals. 

“Thank you, Aunty,” Amanda said as she walked over but she felt nauseous as she neared the food. 

She ran towards the nearest washroom making everyone look in her direction. 

“Auntie, I don’t want to eat that, I want chicken nuggets and some berries,” she said as she walked into the living room. 

“Ariana, is the Scott Corp bankrupt now?” she asked as she sat down she didn’t want them to ask what 

was wrong with her as she herself didn’t know. 

“Yes, they should have a long time ago but Damien’s father has some companies abroad thus he has been helping his son. When we discovered that, we attacked his company also,” Ariana answered her question although she knew what the latter was avoiding. 

“Also, Marie is pregnant. Her mother filed for house arrest as it would be quite impossible for her to be in jail while she is still pregnant,” she added.
