The things on Amanda’s hands fell when she heard that. 

“What? Why do you think that?” a voice asked at the entrance making the two look in the direction. 

“What? Why are both of you silent upon seeing me?” Leslie asked with a frown while the others shool 

their heads.

‘Nothing. It’s just that Arya thinks that I am pregnant because I have a big appetite and have some weird cravings,” Amanda said as she glared at Arya who just rolled her eyes when she saw her look.

“You forgot that you rushed to the washroom immediately you sniffed your favorite dish. That’s not you!” Arya said making Amanda throw the pillow closest to her at her. 

Leslie remained silent and didn’t know what to say. 

“What Arya said might be a possibility. Also, don’t forget that she is a mother and has been there 

before,” Leslie said. 

“Tell her!” Arya said with a smirk. 

“What do you mean?” Amanda asked in a displeased tone as she didn’t want to accept it. 

“Arya, why don’t we buy her a pregnancy kit to test?” Leslie said as she knew that Amanda wasn’t 

going to believe her. 

Also, she might carry a grudge against them and take revenge on them in the future. 

“You are right. Amanda, you continue eating. We will be back in a few,” Arya said causing Amanda to 

nod her head agreeing with her but deep down, she didn’t know whether they would find her where: 

was seated as she was sleepy and at the same time dizzy. 

“Mom, why haven’t you gotten me out of this place yet? It’s so filthy,” Marie said full of hatred and 

anger as she looked at her mother who was on the other side 

“It’s impossible to employ any lawyer. When they heard that it is a case fighting against the Andersons, they all cower in fear as they don’t want to provoke that family,” Mrs Lopez said full of

Since her daughter was arrested, she had been begging her wealthy friends so that they could help her 

but everyone was avoiding her like a plaque. Mr Lopez rarely goes home as he kept staying in the 

clubs fooling around. 

Mrs. Lopez’s eyes were full of hatred when she thought about how her life had changed drastically. She never thought that her precious daughter whom she had always depended on who go around cat trouble just because she was Damien’s fiancée. 

Couldn’t she tell that Damien wasn’t at the top of the pyramid for her to be so ruthless and 

arrogant? 

Now seeing the hatred in her daughter’s eyes, she didn’t know whether it was directed to her because she had failed to get her out of prison or whether it was hatred for the person behind all their sufferings. 

Nonetheless, she had a lot of things to think about that she didn’t care about that. 

To her, it was fine even if the hateful look was directed at her as she had indeed failed as another 

and she felt so sour about it. 

“Mom, now that I am pregnant but they have refused to release me because of that or be on house rest, I can only depend on you to take care of my child till I am out,” Marie said after some time as he knew that she shouldn’t blame her mother. 

From her mother’s look, she knew that her mother hadn’t had a good rest since she was arrested. 

“I know. I am thinking of ways to make your father transfer the remaining properties under his name to mine or yours so that your child can live a good life,” Mrs Lopez said as her eyes lit up a bit at the thought she was going to be a grandmother. 

Although she didn’t know the person with whom Marie had an affair with r why she was pregnant, she didn’t dare ask worrying that her daughter might be agitated and lose her child. 

She vowed to treat the baby well and give her everything she needed even the love she had for Marie as that child would be the only family she had. 

“Okay,” Marie said with a smile as she never thought that her mother had only started planning for the child’s future.

Marie hated the child in her belly as she was reminded of what she didn’t want to remember but she didn’t dare get rid of it in fear that she might lose her life in the process. 

Amanda slept on the couch as she waited for her sisters–in–law to come back as she knew that even if she went to sleep, they might wake her up to fulfill their curiosity. 

When both Leslie and Arya came back, Amanda was dragged to her room. 

She went to the washroom and followed the instructions given by the two ladies as she was still sleepy and didn’t have the energy to read. 

She walked out in a while and handed the test strip to Leslie before lying on her bed. 

Leslie was shocked when she saw the two lines on the test strip and looked at Amanda who was lying down lazily. 

“Amanda, you are indeed pregnant!” Arya said as she looked at the result. 

“Impossible!” Amanda said as she refused to accept the harsh reality. 

She changed her clothes and went to the 

hospital accompanied by Leslie. 

Months flew fast and before they knew it, it was the end Amanda was supposed to give birth. 

“Amanda, do you need anything?” Ariana asked nervously. 

She had witnessed the pain that was in Leslie’s eyes and face when she was child labor and felt pain when she saw her sister’s situation. 

“Sister, there is no need to worry about. By the way, has Marie given birth?” Amanda asked as she packed the clothes needed when she went to the hospital. 

“No. But I received news that her water had broken. She has been rushed to the hospital. It is the same hospital in which you are supposed to go. But you don’t need to worry as the police are keeping an eye on her,” Ariana said to reassure her sister. 

“Okay,” Amanda said with a smile but she had a bad premonition in her heart. 

“Ariana, my water just broké. Call the others and inform them and also, don’t forget to inform Antonio,” Amanda said in a panic.

Since she discovered that she was pregnant, her relationship with Antonio got close as they knew they 

had to work together to give their child the best life. 

Due to the fear of their child being called illegitimate, they both got married in private but Amanda 

insisted on living in her parent’s house thus Antonio visited her when he was free. 

“Okay.” Ariana answered in a panic. 

After five hours of Amanda being in pain and labor, she finally gave birth to a daughter. 

“Marie, I have something to tell you,” Mrs Lopez said as she shook Marie who was lying on the hospital bed and at the same time, peeped at the door hoping the men guarding the door wouldn’t hear them. 

“Mom, what’s it?” Marie asked in a tired tone. 

“Amanda has also given birth to a daughter,” Mrs Lopez said shocking Marie. 

After minutes of silence, a creepy smile appeared on her face. 

“Mom, come let me tell you something. Make sure you do it!” 

Amanda woke up and looked around. 

“Why is my baby?” she asked in a low agitated tone when she didn’t see her child. 

“Love, come down. They are in the nursery. You gave birth to two kids. A boy and a girl,” Antonio said in a doting tone. 

“What!” Amanda was shocked but relieved. 

She had always felt that she had two kids but the doctor always said that she couldn’t see another figure on her belly but now. 

“I want to see them,” Amanda said in a happy and anxious tone. 

“Relax,” Antonio said as she helped her to sit down. 

“My dear child, I am sorry that I am late. I thought by the time you woke up, I would be already here,” Mrs Anderson said as she rushed towards her daughter.

“The girl’s name will be Leilani Rodriguez while the boy’s name will be Octavius Rodriguez,” Antonio replied as they had already agreed on a name before. 

“The names are so beautiful just the owners,” 

Mr Anderson and Mrs Anderson frown as they look at the girl. 

“Mom, what is it?” Adrian asked when he saw their faces. 

“She doesn’t have a butterfly birthmark on her collarbone like every girl in the family,” Mr Anderson said making everyone silent. 

“Dad, what are you trying to say?” Ariana asked with a frown. 

“Nothing. It is just that we thought she would have a butterfly birthmark just like you and your sister. Don’t forget that even Angel has it,” Mr Anderson said. 

“Dad, are you trying to say that she isn’t my baby? If she isn’t then why is my baby?” Amanda asked anxiously. 

“Madam, I know that you find it suspicious but it is quite possible. Also, they are in a new nursery, or should I sav VIP nursery where the children given birth by the people in the VIPs room are” one
