The scene was a bit ambiguous, and anyone who saw it would chuckle to themselves.
"I'm sorry..." Ranita looked at the bright imprint, feeling conflicted. She wanted to be honest but also didn't want Brendon to get angry.
"Ranita!" Brendon scratched her nose and let out a soft hum, but he didn't pursue the matter further.
Ranita sat on his lap after causing another commotion just now. They looked at each other with an indescribable expression in their eyes.
Fortunately, the car stopped at this moment. The driver's voice came from the front, "Mr. Stuart, we've arrived."
Ranita quickly got off his lap and straightened her dress before getting out of the car.
Diego Webster's birthday banquet had invited many relatives and friends over. It was held in a private villa estate owned by the Webster family.
Brendon led her forward and met Chris who was welcoming guests at the entrance.
"Brendon, Ranita! You're here! Come inside!" Chris greeted them warmly. "Steve is already inside waiting for you guys; go talk with him."
There was an independent banquet hall in the estate where people were gathered together.
As they walked forward a few steps more, someone suddenly dashed towards them, "Brother! Why did you take so long? Shannon and I have been waiting for you for ages!"
It was Holly.
She immediately rolled her eyes when she saw Ranita, "Why did you bring Ranita along?"
"Holly, watch your words; you should address Ranita as your sister-in-law," Brendon frowned slightly with displeasure evident in his eyes.
Holly trembled under his gaze before snorting, "I don't want to!"
