The Double or more Life of the Fake Heiress (Mirabella) novel Chapter 1567

Collins couldn't help but marvel at Cassie's features, thinking to himself that this face was just made for Hollywood stars.

He waved a hand at Mirabella and said with a grin, "Who cares if you're tone-deaf? A good-looking face opens all the doors."

Mirabella just rolled her eyes, "..."

"Hey there," Collins continued, "have you ever thought about becoming a star in the entertainment world?"

As he spoke, Collins fished a business card from his pocket and handed it over with great enthusiasm. "Join me, and I promise you'll be a top star in no time—give it three years!"

Cassie stood there, staring at the card and the overzealous man, unsure if he should take it or not. Before he could make up his mind, Mirabella had already snatched the card from his hand.

"He's really not interested, Collins," Mirabella said with a sigh.

If their family head found out she led Cassie into showbiz, she could expect a stern talking-to, or maybe even worse.

"Seriously, no interest?" Collins looked genuinely bummed out.

"I actually..." Cassie started, but Mirabella's stern look shut him up.

"He's about to start his senior year in high school. There's no time for this stuff," Mirabella said, pulling out a chair and sitting down.

Collins let out a heavy sigh, "Yeah, I guess a career in entertainment could mess with his studies."

Though a bit disappointed, he didn't push it any further.
