The Double or more Life of the Fake Heiress (Mirabella) novel Chapter 1677

"She'll be alright." James had pulled himself together and turned back to Blaze and the others with a calm demeanor. "Make sure everyone gets back to the hotel safely," he instructed.

Curtis nodded respectfully, "Of course."

Without hanging around, James carried her downstairs with a sense of urgency.

Curtis, tucking his gun back into his waistband, walked over to Blaze and the others, untying the ropes that had held them captive.

Finally free, the group seemed to snap back to reality. The bodies of the gunmen Mirabella had deftly taken down still littered the floor, their weapons scattered. A shared question lingered in the air: Who exactly was their Mira?

Even as they climbed into Curtis's car, the mystery of Mira’s true identity remained unsolved.

An hour later, Curtis dropped them off safely at the hotel and drove off. His tough exterior and intimidating vibe kept Blaze and the others silent during the ride, too nervous to ask questions.

Once Curtis left, the tension eased a little.

"I hope Mira's okay," Blaze said with genuine concern. He couldn’t shake the image of Mira risking it all to save him. Without her, he might not be standing here.

Patrick echoed his worry, recalling the earlier chaos, "I heard her mention something about medicine."

"Let's hope Mira's alright," Denny added with a serious tone.

Dusty and disheveled, they looked like they'd been through the wringer, but none of them felt any bitterness, despite their kidnapping being linked to Mira.
