As soon as they stepped into the emergency room, the monitor let out a long, ominous beep. The once-wavy heart rate line had flattened into a straight line. The assistant doctors exchanged worried glances and reached for the defibrillator, ready for another go at jump-starting the heart.

Mirabella, with a quick glance at the monitor, stopped their actions. Instead, she swiftly retrieved a set of acupuncture needles and deftly inserted them into strategic points on the chest. The assistant doctors froze, clearly taken aback by her unconventional approach.

One of the doctors snapped out of his daze and turned to Dr. Ray. "Dr. Ray, this person..."
