The next morning, Elliot and I woke up early to walk Sandy around. Whilst walking, it came across our minds to start walking towards the business building. Elliot then decided to finally take us on a tour. The building housed about fifty floors. Upon the elevators opening, there was a large information desk that held three assistants. They were all gorgeous, tall and young-looking. They greeted but as we walked away, there was some bad mouthing on the side. I felt a little uncomfortable as Elliot continued to tour me around his office.
Elliot’s office was on the fiftieth floor. On this floor, there was a single conference room that could house about twenty people. There was a bar at the end of the conference room.
“Business operations Analysts are housed on the fifteenth floor” he starts to say, “you’ll get your own desk and you’ll have an access to the floor cafeteria and quiet lounge. If I’m not mistaken, you will be working majority of your time with teammates so brainstorming is a must for the role.” He tells me.
I nod at him. He continues tot ell me some more things but hen suddenly, I blurt out, “Are your employees aware who I am?”
He raises a brow, “What?”
I cross my hands over my chest, “I mean do they know who I am to you, what we are as a couple . . . that we are a couple?” I ask him.
“I think the whole of Singapore knows that we got married as of course my employees know who you are” he tells me, “Why? What is this about?” he asks.
