Vander stared at Madison. 

Evelyn gently gripped his hands. “It’s okay if we can’t find them.” 

Owen ran his tongue along the inside of his cheek. His innate sense of justice refused to let the villain go unpunished. 

“Ms. Locke, as long as we can find that person, we’re willing to cooperate however necessary.” 

Madison silently pressed her lips together. 

“Ms. Locke, Professor Bauman’s research is crucial to national security. The other party has targeted her and stolen her manuscript. We hope to track them down.” 

“As long as we can locate them, we’ll fully cooperate,” Vander and Evelyn added. Their eyes were filled with tension as they looked at Madison. They knew what kind of research was being done and understood what it would mean if the research succeeded. 

Madison thought for a moment and said, “In my current state, finding them will be difficult.” 

Everyone in the hospital ward slumped their shoulders. Their expressions were filled with disappointment. 

“But I can find the person who took the manuscript. 

Everyone’s eyes lit up, and they turned their attention to Madison, 

“Really?” 

“Ms. Locke, this is not a simple task. Can you really find the person who stole the manuscript? 

“Can you find them now?” 

Madison watched as the three got excited and took a step b 

back. “I can find them now.” 

She had thought they were trying to find the person who harmed Evelyn 

Sensing Madison’s contusion, Evelyn smiled and explained, “Of course, we also want to catch the person who hurt me. But right now, the manuscript is the priority. My notes are in it, and they’re key to breaking through the bottleneck in our research.” 

Madison understood. For her, fighting evil was important. But for Evelyn and Vander, the research and its results were what mattered 

most 

Both Evelyn and Vander were filled with loyalty and devotion. They served their country with relentless determination and worked for the people. 

It was no wonder they could survive the impossible. They could turn misfortunes into opportunities. 

Owen stood up and said to Madison, “Ms. Locke, I’m going to step out to make a call to have our people get ready. If you need anything, just let me know,” 

Madison frowned in thought for a moment before replying, “I might need satellite support.” 

“Satellite support?” 

Hearing Madison say something so high–tech left Owen stunned for a second. He had expected her to ask for a sword or an altar… things along those lines. 

Who would have thought that a master of profound mystic ar 

arts would need satellite support? 

“That will require approval.” 

Owen stepped out to make the call. After a while, he returned. “The request has been approved. Ms. Locke, when can we begin?” “Right now.” 

Madison walked over to Evelyn and extended her hands. A talisman paper appeared between them. Holding the paper, Madison softly chanted a spell under her breath, then took hold of Evelyn’s hand, making a small cut at the fingertip. 

A drop of blood oozed out. 

Madison dipped her fingertips in Evelyn’s blood, then moved them quickly across the talisman paper. 

Within seconds, the talisman was completed. 

The moment it was finished, Madison waved her hand, and the talisman shot out like an arrow. It flew out of the window.

“Have the satellite follow the talisman. It should lead us to where the manuscript is now.” 

Owen hesitated for only a second before calling his colleagues to begin tracking. He walked to the window, watching the talisman. vanish quickly into the distance 

No wonder Madison had asked for satellite support. No human could keep up with that speed. The talisman moved swiftly, crossing mountains and rivers effortlessly. 

“With the current speed the talisman is moving, if the manuscript is still in the country, it should find it in about two hours,” said 

Madison 

Owen blinked and asked, “Can the talisman work overseas too?” 

A look of curiosity 

spread across his face. 

If they had talismans like this, tracking criminals would be much easier. Even if a person fled abroad, they could still be caught. 

Madison asked, “The talisman can reach foreign soil, but can the satellites track it there?” 

Owen paused and said, “Technically, it’s off–limits, but..” 

He let out a chuckle.
