Two hours later, Owen’s phone rang. 

Everyone turned to look at him. 

Without any delay, Owen put the call on speaker and answered, “Did you find it?” 

“Mr. Beckham, we’ve found it. We have both the person and the manuscript, I’ll send over photos of the manuscript shortly so that Professor Bauman can verify if it’s the original. 

The person on the line was brimming with optimism. “Mr. Beckham, you wouldn’t believe it. When we started chasing, the person noticed us and fled. We thought we had lost them, but that talisman just kept flying forward! 

“So, we sent our team to follow it, and sure enough, we caught them. Mr. Beckham, this master is the real deal!” 

Like Owen, his teammates were used to seeing strange things and weren’t fazed by the talisman. 

“You should stay on good terms with her! I have a feeling we’ll be worldng together a lot more in the future.” 

Owen glanced at Madison. “Aren’t I trying right now?” 

“Keep trying, Mr. Beckham.” After wrapping up the details with Evelyn and the others, Owen turned to Madison. “Ms. Locke, let me take you home.‘ 

“Alright.” 

Vander rose as he walked Madison out, thanking her as they left. “I’ll definitely watch your livestreams from now on. I’ve always believed that everything in this world can be explained by science. If something can’t be explained now, it’s only because our technology isn’t advanced enough” 

Madison didn’t feel offended. In fact, she respected Vander for this. 

“I may be able to use these abilities, but I don’t know the principles behind them either. If one day, someone of the mystical world, I’d be thrilled.”

Evelyn chuckled. “She’s only in her early 20s. Of course, her thinking is modern. She probably thinks we’re the ones who are old- fashioned” 

Vander paused, then facepalmed as the realization hit him. “That’s true. She’s so talented that I completely forgot how young she is.” After all, Madison was just in her 20s. Most people her age had only just graduated from university. And yet, she had already made significant achievements in her field. 

Owen personally drove Madison to the airport. He handed her luggage over as they arrived. “Ms. Locke, thank you so much for your help. Someone will come by soon to deliver your payment.” 

“Alright,” Madison replied. 

Owen walked alongside her toward the terminal and added, “Ms. Locke, how about we exchange contact numbers? That way, if we need your assistance in the future, we can reach out to you without intruding like this time.” 

It was Vander who had suggested keeping in touch with Madison. Initially, Owen had been skeptical, but after watching her livestream, he decided to trust her. The decision had proven to be on point. 

Owen glanced at Madison, who was standing in the sunlight. Her stunning, natural beauty radiated a sense of aloofness. His eyes lingered on her before looking away. 

Madison took out her phone and added Owen to her contacts before collecting her luggage and entering the terminal. 

Owen blinked. Was she not even going to say goodbye? 

Whether she was a master or not, she was still a young lady with a cold demeanor. 

She was clearly on a whole other level, beyond what a regular human like him could hope to understand.
