The Fortune-Telling Heiress novel Chapter 201

Chapter 201

In the monitor, a panicked voice rang out, Shane, how did I do? Was that good

Marco’s legs fell like jelly. If Shane hadn’t been there to support him, he would have crumpled to the ground. Shane, let’s get out of here,he urged. Shane’s face turned pale, but he noticed Madison’s calm demeanor. She even took a seat in front of Shane’s monitor, watching the screen intently

Shane took a deep breath and dragged Marco over to the monitor

The monitor glowed, displaying anearby well

The ghost’s face was exposed, and she had placed her hands on top of the well, scratching the surface with her nails

In the next moment, her head snapped up, revealing a fierce and chilling gaze directed at the camera

Marco screamed

However, Shane remained silent, staring intently at the screen

Suddenly, the figure floated into view, her face dominating the entire screen. Blood seeped from her eyes as she bared her teeth, asking, Shane, how did I do?”

Marco was so bemitied that his lipstrembled, yet no words escaped

Madison didn’t understand what was happening. She got up from her chair to let Shane sit down

After checking with Madison and seeing her nod, Shane picked up the microphone. What’s your character supposed to be? If you’re playing a real ghost, do you think just standing there works?”

He continued, If you’re pretending to be human as a ghost, where are your human emotions? That’s not acting. What’s your character’s background? What’s the plot? Who’s your opponent? Or is this just a solo performance?”

Shane fired off a series of questions. The ghost on the screen hesitated for a moment. Then, she gradually pulled away and stood respectfully in the background. Her voice was eerily boarse. I don’t know. There’s no setting, no plot.”

Shane exhaled sharply. No plat, no setting? Do you even have a character profile? How can you act without anything to work with? Tell me, how did you plan to perform?”

The ghost shivered slightly

Marco rugged at shane’s shirt from behind, trying to remind him that he was dealing with more

Shane swatted Marco’s hand away

Marco remained silent

When it came to acting, Shane was uncompromising

than just an ordinary actor

Desperate, Marco glanced at Madison. She stood calmly beside the monitor, looking intently at the screen

Everyone else seemed confident, while he felt like the only coward

After scolding the glost, Shane took a breath and asked, Are you interrupting our shoot because we disturbed you?The ghost fell silent

Marco cautiously leaned in to watch the screen, hoping for an answer

Madison spoke up, You’re filled with resentment. You didn’t die a normal death. You were killed, weren’t you?” Killed?

Shane and Marco were both startled. They looked nervously at the ghost

She sat by the well with her head lowered. Her long hair hid her face, and a gust of wind made her white dress flatter
