She wrapped her arms around his neck, burying her head in his chest. “I knew it. You love me.“. 

Damian hugged her anxiously, 

“Nessal” Vanessa’s good friend walked over and glared angrily at them. “Damian, all your friends and family are waiting down below. Are you going to give up on the marriage because of her right now? Do you think you’re being fair to Nessa?” 

Damian walked over to Vanessa, still hugging Ivy. His expression was full of remorse, 

“You told me you didn’t like her,” said Vanessa. 

“I didn’t like her at first. I even thought she was annoying, But… But I couldn’t just leave her be when she fell sick! She… I’m sorry, Nessa!” 

Vanessa laughed bitterly. “I get it.” 

She turned to leave. Her good friend turned to glance at Damian and Ivy. “Just go die in a ditch, you dogs! Damian, you have fun living out your life with that fake bitch!” 

She then ran to catch up with Vanessa. 

Vanessa was standing alone in the hallway, leaning against the wall. She had thrown her wedding veil to the ground. 

“Are you alright, Nessa?” 

Vanessa shook her head. “Where’s your phone?” 

“Here.” 

She took the phone and sent a message in the live room. 

“Can I connect to the call?” 

Madison saw her comment. “Of course.” 

Vanessa immediately sent a video call request, which Madison accepted. 

The moment the call connected, the entire live chat filled with viewers was blown away. 

Ivy was a beauty herself, but her beauty was a result of plastic surgery. Therefore, her looks leaned toward the Instagram influencer type of beauty. But Vanessa was different. 

Vanessa was a natural beauty. She had stunning looks, and she had dressed up for the wedding today, which meant she looked even more dazzling. Thus, when she appeared, the whole live room practically exploded with messages. 

“Wow! Pretty lady, I didn’t think you were this pretty.” 

“Hot damn. Before, I thought that man was swayed by appearances, but now, I can only say he’s just blind.”

Ivy’s eyes flashed when she saw these comments. She hooked an arm around Damian’s neck and leaned in to kiss him, all right in front of the camera. 

“Our love is true love. Letting two people who don’t love each other get married is what will hurt them the most.” 

Damian’s expression darkened upon realizing that they were being streamed live, especially after seeing Vanessa appear on screen. 

He turned his head away, avoiding Ivy’s kiss. His free hand reached out to snatch the phone away, and he immediately cut off the feed. 

Watching all this happen, Vanessa’s eyes dimmed. 

However, she quickly recovered her composure. She turned toward the camera and asked, “Miss, may I ask something? If not for Ivy, would Damian and I have gotten married successfully and lived happily ever after?” 

Madison was silent for a few seconds, before saying, “You and Damian are each other’s soulmates. If not for Ivy, you two would’ve lived blissful lives.” Vanessa froze for a moment. 

She asked again, “Is it all because of Ivy?” Madison replied, “Yes, it’s all because of Ivy.” 

Vanessa couldn’t even control her expression this time. She stayed quiet for a long while before speaking up with reddened eyes, “Maybe… Maybe Ivy is his true love!”
