“open. We’re from the Eastwood investigation Bureau. We have reason to suspect that you’re harboring a criminal. Open the door immediately, or wr’ll be feed to break it down” 

There was tenible packet outside. 

Ara looked Bearfully at the door. 

Don’t be afraid. They won’t dare break down the door, Vander sald incomfort. 

Just as the words left his mouth, loud banging sounds came from the direction of the door. 

Vander inmediately wanted to rush out in anger, but he was held back by Evelyn 

“Don’t get into conflict with them. Let’s talk things out peacefully.”

But, wawas beside herself with worry. “Am causing you trouble? I should probably just leave!” 

Evelyn shook her head. “Since Maddie sent you to us, everything will definitely tum out alright. Don’t worry.” Downstairs, Vander opened the door, phone still in hand. He glared coldly at the uniformed men who rushed in.. 

“What do you think you’re doing?” 

The men glanced around at the surroundings before producing their identification. 

“We currently suspect you to be harboring a criminal, so we want to cry out a search. 

“Do you have a search warrant?” asked Ware looked over their identification documents. 

The documents were real, and his expression darkened at the realization. 

“I’m a professor at Eastwood University. Here, these are my identification documents have documents from the research institute stored in my home, so if you want to each my house without a warrant, I have reason to suspect you’re here to steal the research.” 

Vanderbrought out his own proof of identity and banded the documents to the men. “Well, do you have a search warrant?” 

Of course, they wouldn’t have a wamant. 

Do you know how serious a crime it is to harbor a criminal? Who cares if you’re a professor or what research you’re carrying out. As long as you’re harboring a criminal, I can have you arrested, understand?” Billy ran over, threatening Vander angrily, 

One of the men had a dark look on his face. 

“Mr. Quill, this man ta a research professor who was invited over by the Eastwood authorities. He was specially brought in to research the development of a new megy source for Eastwood.” 

“Who cares who he is! Do you want to be drked out of Eastwood? Let me tell you. 

Billy grabbed the man by his collar, yelling, “If you don’t want in, then you’d better hurry up and get lost. There are plenty of others who are eyeing your position.” 

He shoved the man aside before placing at Vander again. 

“Hey, old man. This is Eastwood, the Quill family’s domain. Since you’re in Eastwood, it doesn’t matter who you are, you have to bow down and growel to me regardless, you hear?” 

He looked Vander up and down mockingly, eyes full of disdain. 

What are you even wearing? I’m guessing your entire outfit put together isn’t even worth a thousand dollars.” 

Billy sheered, shrugging his shoulders. “Don’t cause trouble, alright, old fart?” 

Vander was a scholar. He had either been studying or conducting research his entire life, so naturally, everyone he became acquainted with was a learned Individual Never had he met such an unreasonable person 

Hejabbed an accusing finger at Billy, furious. “Do you guys not have any regard for the law?” 

Billy replied, “The law? In Eastwood, 1, Billy Quill, am the law. Why don’t you go and ask around? Ask anyone you meet whether you can make it in Eastwood without even knowing the Quills.” 

He commanded, “Search the place!”
