The Fortune-Telling Heiress novel Chapter 351

Chapter 351

Malcolm replied, It’s pointless for you to come if you don’t even know where I am.”

Madison stayed silent for a moment, narrowing her eyes as she quickly formed a hand seal. She focused on the talisman glowing on her screen

Within seconds, she had pinpointed Malcolm’s exact location

She turned to the driver, Jake Dawson, and said, You can stop here.”

Jake glanced at the spot, confused. Mr. Hall instructed me to follow your directions the entire trip, Ms. Locke.”

They had only been driving for about ten minutes, yet Madison was already requesting to be dropped off

This is as far as you go. I’ll handle the rest on my own,she replied

Jake hesitated, clearly uneasy. However, Madison was already stepping out of the car. With one hand forming another seal and the other holding the talisman, she vanished into thin air

WWhat the—Jake stammered, jumping out of the car and frantically looking around the spot where Madison had disappeared. He blinked a few times, rubbing his eyes to make sure he wasn’t hallucinating

It was real. She was real

He couldn’t believe he had actually driven Madison. What people said online wasn’t a lie, after all

He immediately clasped his hands together in a respectful gesture toward the empty air

Meanwhile, Madison reappeared in a dense forest that was surrounded by towering trees and thick undergrowth. She glanced around briefly before striding directly south. The calls of insects and birds filled the air as animals scurried past her

Glancing at her phone, Madison noted her location. She was deep within a nature reserve, far from where regular tourists would venture. Malcolm had chosen his hiding spot well

Suddenly, a sharp bird cry pierced the forest, and countless birds took to the sky, all flying in the same direction. As they passed overhead, several of them seemed to lose all life midflight, plummeting to the ground like stones

Madison stared at the fallen birds, her lips curling into a cold smile. She said, Everything in this world has a spirit. You’ve killed so many living beings. Aren’t you afraid of retribution?”

A voice echoed from above, laughter ringing through the trees. Retribution? Ms. Locke, do you honestly believe in retribution in this world?”

The laughter continued, growing louder. I’ve been doing this for years. Do you think I’ve suffered any consequences?”

He continued, Look at your own life. Have you seen justice served? The heavens have long since turned a blind eye. Without faimess in the world, there’s no such thing as retribution.”

Madison’s voice was firm as she replied, I carry my own sense of justice, my own understanding of the heavens.”
