Logan frowned. “There are many rumors about Mount fjord. It’s said that anyone who entered the mountain and crossed a small stream decades ago never returned.”

As the night deepened, the military personnel set up temporary tents and a command center outside the dense forest.
Madison and Wanda were in a separate tent from the others. Wanda held Madison’s backpack as she ate dinner. She asked, “Ms. Locke, is it really that eere?” Madison replied, “I haven’t detected a any negative or demonic energy so far.”
No negative energy meant there were no ghosts. No demonic energy meant there were no demons.
Wanda sighed in relief. “That’s good, that’s good,”
She had just overheard the cultivators and the military personnel chatting. Although they hadn’t seen anything, their imagination had already created horrifying

The energy here was too clean. It was so clean that it felt like no living being had ever died here
Wanda felt scared hearing this even though she didn’t fully understand. She hugged Madison’s backpack tighter.
“Why is that?”
“I don’t know.” She had never m
