The Fortune-Telling Heiress novel Chapter 404

BeefyBite got her emotions under control, then faced the phone camera. "Thank you, Ms. Locke. If not for you, I don't know what would've happened," she said.

Even if she didn't end up killed by the malevolent ghost, her despicable husband probably wouldn't have let her off either.

"Ms. Locke, will my daughter be able to divorce him successfully?" asked BeefyBite's mother in concern.

"Yes," replied Madison.

BeefyBite's parents sighed in relief at that.

"How should we deal with these things, then, Ms. Locke? And these banners as well."

Madison thought over it for a bit before replying, "Send me your address via private message. I'll go over to deal with it!"

"Thank you, Ms. Locke!"

After they communicated their next move, BeefyBite hung up the call.

In an old monastery located in Sunville, past a front hall filled with lit candles, some tourists followed a stone-paved pathway toward the back of the building. They were intercepted by two monks wearing blue robes.

"The back is a private area," the monks told them with a smile.

The tourists peered curiously through the foliage past the circular entrance only to see a dozen or so people in varying clothing standing inside.

"Did you see that?" asked one of the tourists.

"Yes, I did!" replied another. "Are they filming a drama series?"

"No idea. They might be cosplaying."

"Are cosplay costumes so simplistic nowadays?"

The conversation between the two young tourists reached the ears of the monks guarding the entrance. They exchanged glances and smiled helplessly. Then, they started to communicate with each other in low voices.
