Harvey rubbed his aching temple and turned to face Madison with an apologetic look, only to find her calmly carrying on with her meal as if nothing had happened.
“Aren’t you upset?”
Madison swallowed her lood. “We’ll only get mad if we have expectations.”
Harvey felt a pang in his heart. “I’m sorry. We’ve been neglecting you.”
