There was one thing that was impossible to ignore.
It was undeniable.
Davina’s gaze unwillingly dropped, her eyes scanning downward.

“Did you get a good look?” Jude’s voice held a teasing tone.
Embarrassment spread across Davina’s face, her cheeks flushing bright red.
She quickly spun around. “Sorry, I didn’t know anyone was in here.
How would I have known someone was showering in there?
Why didn’t he lock the door while showering?
The maid didn’t mention anyone being inside when the pointed out the bathroom.
Jude hadn’t expected her to walk in. He had planned to shower and then meet her afterward. But she had arrived earlier than he expected.
Normally, he didn’t use this bathroom. However, there was an issue with the shower in his room today, so he had to use the shared one.
As soon as Davina turned around, Jude grabbed a towel to wrap around his waist.
Davina hastily opened the door, ready to leave.
Just then, she heard the maid’s voice from outside.
“Ms. Summer, I noticed the door is open. Are you in there?”
The maid had seen the bathroom door slightly ajar and, concerned for Davina’s comfort as a guest, called out.

“Alright,” the maid called out before heading downstairs.
Davina exhaled in relief, ready to leave. But just then, a heavy male presence closed in behind her.
A thick, masculine scent surrounded her.
The man behind her moved closer. One of his hands pressed against the door, blocking her exit.
Even though there was some space between them, Davina could feel the temperature rise, like a fire about to ignite. It seemed as though the heat could consume her at any moment.
“I thought you enjoy looking at my body.” Jude’s voice was a low whisper in her ear, sending a shaver down her spine.
“You don’t wanna look anymore?” His tone was deliberately provocative

“Don’t overthink it. To me, your body is just like a specimen,” she said flatly.
After all, Davina had seen countless bodies–male and female–throughout her life. She had studied them, dissected them- there was nothing for her to be shy about. To Davina, seeing both living and deceased bodies held no emotional weight.
The only difference was that some bodies were more visually appealing, deserving a second glance.
To her, nudity was nothing to be excited about it was just a collection of bones and flesh, nothing more.
