Chapter 9 I Only Hit the Scumbags
Smack! The crisp sound of a slap echoed throughout the boutique, shocking everyone.
“Davina, what the hell are you doing?!” Ashen barked, fury rising in his voice.
Before he could even react. Davina slapped him next.
Smack!
“Don’t worry,” she said coldly. Tve got one for you too.”
She turned sharply toward Cassia, who stood frozen in disbelief, and delivered another fierce backhand slap
Smack!
Neither of the brothers saw it coming.
The blows landed with such speed and force that they didn’t even have time to flinch.
The slaps left red marks burning on their cheeks.
They glared at her, teeth clenched.
Davina’s eyes were cold, her words sharp and deliberate. “Don’t forget–it’s you two who wronged me. The me, you should be ducking and hiding like rats when a cat walks in. Not yapping like wild mutts in my face. But hey, if being moment you see mad dogs is what you want to be good. Because this hand of mine? It’s made for beating dogs
With that, she turned on her heel and strode out of the store, completely unbothered by the stunned crowd watching. Percy glanced at the trio, the corners of his mouth twitching–he didn’t say a word, but his expression screamed one thing. Well done!
Cassia and Ashen exchanged uneasy looks, guilt flickering in their eyes.
Their family really had wronged Davina. Deep down, the brothers feared she’d bring that incident up in public.
So even though they’d just been slapped in front of everyone, neither dared to retaliate.
Stella, who had remained silent, finally began to sob softly. “Even if we were wrong, she still had no right to do that. She went to prison, and yet Mom and Dad still let her come home. Isn’t that enough?sn’t that kindness? I know it’s my fault, and I’ve already made up my mind. I was ready to leave once she came back.”
Instantly, her brothers moved to comfort her.
“You don’t need to leave, Cassia said firmly. “If anyone’s leaving, it’s her. If she lays a hand on you again, I’ll make sure she pays for it”
Ashen growled, “She’s sunk so low, letting some rich guy keep her like a mistress. Now she struts around like she owns the place. She’s no different from a shrew”
The sales girls nearby, clearly entertained by the drama, started whispering among themselves.
Stella’s face flushed with frustration, took the lead, and stormed out of the boutique.
Her twin brothers hurried after her.
Unbeknownst to them, on the upper floor of the luxury boutique–where the VIP lounge was tucked behind a one–way glass railing–a man leaned casually against the barrier, having watched the entire scene unfold.
Inside the VIP‘ suite, one could see everything below while remaining invisible from the outside.
He smirked slightly. “Fiery little thing, he muttered, his eyes dancing with amusement.

He finally pulled his gaze away and turned, his expression darkening as he looked down at the man bowed before him, begging for mercy.
“M–Mr. Jude, I was wrong! I swear I was wrong! I should’ve never sold you out to that woman. She–she’s a slut trying to get in your bed! I wasn’t thinking straight–please, Mr. Jude, please spare me!”
Two bodyguards flanked the man, gripping his arms tightly so he couldn’t move an inch.
