Upon seeing Matthew's action, the burly men all turned to look at Dalton.

Someone asked, "Do we kill this man as well?"

Dalton did not answer him. He glanced over to the surveillance camera.

He truly wasn't afraid when he threatened to kill Kingston under the surveillance camera. It would be useless even if Kingston's friend took the footage to the police.

Dalton walked over to the surveillance camera and swung his baseball bat at it, smashing it into pieces.

He then turned back to the group of burly men and said, "Kill them. Remember to stab one of them and beat the other up, creating an illusion that they killed each other."

The group of burly men fearlessly charged toward Matthew after hearing those words.

The man at the front cursed, "You just had to stand out and dig your own grave!"

As he spoke, Matthew swung the stool down, smashing it into the man's head and breaking the stool apart. The man staggered slightly before collapsing onto the ground.

The rest of the burly men halted in shock, staring wide-eyed at Matthew—even Dalton was stunned.

He was used to being tough and aggressive after being around on the streets for a long time, as he knew that regular people just wanted to get by. They wouldn't dare to retaliate even when they were facing trouble.

Some of them dared not fight back even when they were beaten up badly by Dalton's subordinates.

That was because these regular people were afraid to be thrown into prison if they were to fight back, even risk losing everything they had.
