Buzzing with excitement, Kingston finished his sentence, but he got no reaction from Matthew. He turned to Matthew and asked, "Why are you so quiet?"

Matthew scrunched up his brows. "What do you want me to say?"

Kingston chuckled. "I made a move and landed such a beautiful woman. Aren't you going to congratulate me?"

Matthew simply replied in resignation, "Yeah. You did great."

Kingston wasn't bothered by Matthew's dismissive response. Smirking, he remarked, "Who knew it'd be so easy to get a woman?"

Right after he spoke, the woman in a red dress walked over. He raised his half-full whiskey bottle and quickly approached her with a smile.

"I knew—"

However, the woman walked past Kingston, leaving him standing there awkwardly with the whiskey in hand. His expression changed, and it felt even more embarrassing than when he got slapped earlier.

The woman came up to Matthew with a grin. "What brings you here tonight, Mr. Grant?"

Matthew had a puzzled look. "I was just killing time, so I figured I'd drop by to have some fun."

Only when she walked over did Matthew recognize that she was Rose, the owner of Rose Bar. He had a hunch that Kingston would end up in hot water, and it turned out that he was right.

It was safe to say that Kingston was out of luck. Most of the women in the bar were either looking for a man or drinking to vent their frustrations.

But things were different for Rose. As the bar owner, she was here to work. Kingston had picked the toughest woman to win over.

Smiling, Rose walked up to Matthew and suddenly leaned closer, her lips right by his ear. In a seductive voice, she whispered, "What kind of fun do you have in mind tonight? How do you like what you see?"

With that, she raised her head, her gorgeous eyes locked on Matthew as she waited for his response.

Upon hearing that, Matthew's heart raced. Rose's outfit that day highlighted her curves. Her voluptuous figure swayed with each step, and her crimson, plump lips had a glossy sheen.

Matthew subconsciously swallowed hard. Noticing his reaction, Rose moved closer to his ear again. "Since you're here for a good time, why not have some fun with me?"
