The Great Medical Saint (Matthew) novel Chapter 817

Matthew asked, "But what?"

Tony took a tissue from the table and wiped his tears. With a hint of regret, he remarked, "But the medical book and Octolith aren't with me. They're with my younger brother."

Younger brother?

Matthew breathed a long sigh of relief. He had been worried someone else would get their hands on the medical book first. Knowing the book and item were safe with Tony's own people put his mind at ease.

"In that case, why don't you bring me over to get them?"

With a conflicted look, Tony bit his lower lip. "My brother and I had a huge fallout. I swore I'd never see him again in this lifetime. But now…"

He furrowed his brows and kept quiet, clearly not keen on seeing his younger brother.

Matthew suddenly recalled something. "People told me that your brother took you to Khoitwood for treatment after you lost it. It shows he still cares about you. Sometimes, brothers fight, but they make up just as fast. Don't be so stubborn."

"Is that true?"

Tony was somewhat taken aback. After he lost it, he couldn't remember a lot of things.

Matthew earnestly stated, "The villagers of Suncroft Village told me that. When I was treating you, they said your brother took you to Khoitwood to get help from a famous doctor."

Tony snorted. "Our parents passed away early, so I raised him from a young age. I even got him a house and helped him get married. Good to know he's got a conscience."

Matthew still felt unsettled about it. "Do you think you can get the medical book and Octolith back?"

Tony snapped, "I was the one shutting him out. He'd bring gifts to see me, and I'd just throw them right back out. I even told him I'd never consider him my brother again. For the sake of retrieving Vital Restorative Remedies, I'll go see him this time. As long as he's still breathing, he ought to return the book to me. If not, I'll knock some sense into him."

Hearing Tony talk with such confidence, Matthew felt like a weight lifted off his chest.
