The Great Medical Saint (Matthew) novel Chapter 820

An overwhelming stench filled the air as the maggots continued to squirm. Flies buzzed everywhere near the rotting corpse. The sight left everyone in shock.

Hannah couldn't handle it at first, bending over as she started to throw up. Her reaction seemed contagious as Colin began vomiting as well.

One of them bolted out of the room. The moment they stepped outside, they leaned down and started to vomit.

Matthew clenched his teeth, his expression contorting as he held back the urge to puke. Just a few steps out of the place, he couldn't hold it in and threw up. It felt like someone had reached inside his stomach, grabbing and twisting the muscle hard. The intense discomfort was unbearable.

After recovering a little, Matthew rested in the yard instead of going back inside. The neighbors were shaken up, talking among themselves.

"Oh my goodness! How did it get this bad without anyone noticing? Did the household staff murder him and run off?"

"After the household staff left, I saw Jay exercising the next day. It couldn't be them."

"It's too horrible. The body is full of maggots, and the smell is just… I can't even talk about it. It makes my stomach sick."

"Jay had two sons and a daughter. He had a complete family, but he died alone and rotting in his house without anyone knowing. It's just tragic."

"All his kids went overseas. That's pretty impressive, but look how things ended for him. I was planning to send my son abroad too. But now, forget it. If my son even thinks about going overseas, I'll break his legs."

Hearing the chatters, Colin found his face turning pale.

Colin discreetly pulled out his phone and sent his son a voice message. "I'm having heart issues and need hospital treatment. Can you come back?"

Shortly after, Colin received a voice message. He played it, and his son's voice came through. "Didn't they say everything was fine in your health check-up last month?"
