Josua’s morning routine would always start at Forest Park, followed by leading two of his students for training.
It was a pity that he hadn’t seen Evelyn recently.
Evelyn couldn’t stop thinking about losing two of the three games to Featureless Josua and had always wanted Josua to play another game, but he never once agreed.
Jade was the one who played that game of chess. And although he was skilled, to play against Evelyn was courting death.
Evelyn didn’t suspect that Josua hired a gunman. He spent most of his time looking through chess records in preparation for a clean slate.
As a professional chess player, she had had her fair share of failures. But somehow, it didn’t sit right with her after losing to Abraham. Because, in her opinion, Josua was a tacky person who shouldn’t have such exceptional chess skills.
After returning to the company, Josua began working.
After Carter Medicinal Powder was released, the first batch was supplied to the War Department. Subsequent batches were rushed and weren’t up to standard, and it would take time to improve. The other two drugs were submitted for review and would likely be approved soon.
“It’s better to ask Roland to speed up the progress. He doesn’t hesitate to work overtime, and we need to produce more Carter Medicinal Powder! ” Josua said casually, “If he has no money, we can sponsor him.”
“I’ll rush him. Roland was already fast enough and was watching the production line almost everyday,” Hannah said.
Roland, the chairman, could be said to have done everything by himself. He was the boss, but he went down personally every day to check in on the production line. One can imagine how hard Sanchez Pharm was working on the product.
After a brief meeting, Hannah left the company and went to Sanchez Pharm.
Recently, all the high-level executives were also busy with their affairs. It was only Josua who had more time on his hands. He turned on the computer and resumed his role as Gambling Monster.
“Mr. Evans, Natasha wants to see you!” Yolanda burst into the office and said with a strange expression.
“Who? Natasha?” Josua froze for a moment and stood up.
Yolanda nodded and said, “She is outside now. Do you want to see her?”
Josua thought that after Natasha left Mimar City, she would never come back again. But unexpectedly, she returned. It was unknown what kind of medicine she was selling this time!
However, Josua was excited to meet his past lover. So, he immediately asked Yolanda to bring her over.
Natasha, who appeared in front of Josua again after all this while, was as radiant as before. Her stern expression carried a look of nobility.
“I didn’t expect to see you so soon. You surprised me!” Josua looked at Natasha and said.
“Neither did I ever expect myself to come here for business purposes,” Natasha replied.
Josua walked forward with a smile, “Why are we so indifferent when we were once lovers? Come on, give me a hug, and I’ll see if you’ve lost weight.”
Natasha sneered and replied, “Be mindful of yourself. Our situation is different from before. If you dare touch me, I’ll sue you into bankruptcy!”
