Stephen had already been deceived by the mayor several times.

The recording ended with Brandon and Shawn’s unrestrained laughter, echoing for at least ten seconds before finally stopping. 

The recording finally ended, and the man took out the gift from the box. It was nothing but a mask, a ridiculous clown mask! 

Everyone finally understood why Brandon and Shawn were chuckling so loudly. They were mocking Stephen as a clown! 

“How bold!” Stephen’s friend was the first to get angry. He snatched the mask and slammed it to the ground, then stomped it to pieces. Then, he grabbed the man’s collar,” Are you here to mock us?” 

The man trembled in fear as he explained, “I’m just doing my job.” 

Stephen’s expression darkened. It was his wedding day, but his enemies sent him a gift. What was with this situation? Moreover, they gifted him a clown mask. This was nothing but public humiliation! 

Stephen swore in his heart that he must capture Brandon and Shawn. Not only did he have to take revenge on them, but he also had to make them pay the price for ruining North Hill City! 

“Take this man away for questioning!” The man was soon escorted away. 

Stephen’s friends noticed Stephen’s dark expression and quickly comforted him.

Stephen took a deep breath, trying his best to calm himself down.

Before anyone could fully process what happened, someone entered again. It was another man holding a gift box. 

As he walked in, he shouted, “Howard and Dennis have sent a gift!” 

Stephen felt a chill run down his spine. These two had also stripped him of his dignity.

Looking at Howard’s smug smile in the video, Stephen wished he could punch Howard through the screen. 

Once Howard’s video finished playing, another video started playing automatically. It was a video of Stephen being tossed into a dumpster in Crestwood.
