The Guardian's Return (Ethan Rivers) novel Chapter 471

At that moment, Nolan pulled up some information on Dr. Steel online.

Then, he passed Simon his phone and said, “This is Dr. Ganter Steel.”

Simon had a look and was shocked by the information. Dr. Steel was a prominent figure in the field of therapy and was currently serving as the director of a famous hospital.

Seeing Austin’s credentials put Simon at ease about trusting Austin. As the prized protege of Dr. Ganter Steel, Austin must have exceptional skills.

Curious, he also did a quick search on Austin’s background. After reading a few results, he understood why the psychologist said Austin was a little unconventional.

Apparently, Austin had worked closely with his mentor regarding a condition called ‘Imaginary Love’. His way of treating the condition was special because he would make his patients confront the very situations that had triggered their issues in the first place. It was cruel at first, but his therapy sessions worked.

After his little research on Austin and Dr. Ganter Steel, Simon took another glance at Stephen on the bed. He breathed a sigh of relief knowing Austin was on his way, and soon Stephen would be saved. Although he had no idea how Ethan made Stephen like that, he was not afraid.

The Quinns were wealthy and powerful enough to solve all the problems. Even if Austin could not cure Stephen, Simon could go to Ganter. Even if Ganter failed, he could summon the top psychologists from across the country.

Nolan, too, was relieved. He thought that if a renowned psychologist from another state had come to treat Stephen, surely Stephen could be cured.

Ethan might be invincible in Riveria, but it did not mean he had no equals or rivals in another state. There must be someone out there who could beat Ethan!

By the afternoon, Austin finally arrived. He was tall, well-built, and looked cleanly handsome. He knocked on the door in front of the ward.

Simon had gone to take a rest, and Rachel was away to treat the slap on her face. Only Nolan was around when Austin arrived.

He asked, “Are you Austin Chiswick?”

“Yes, in the flesh.” Austin went up to shake Nolan’s hand. “Are you the patient’s family?”

“No. I’m the mayor of Hill City. The patient is actually my superior.”

Austin’s hand trembled. People of that level of influence were not someone he would usually ever get the chance to meet.
