Simon put his phone on the table and tapped play. 

Brandon’s sobbing voice came from the phone. 

“Leave? I can’t leave my home. My family is here, and I’m not going anywhere. Even if Ethan Rivers destroys North Hill City, I won’t leave. No matter what the city becomes, this will always be my home.” 

When the recording ended, some in the meeting had started to tear up. 

“Sigh. An entrepreneur like him is rare.”

Someone said to Simon “Can I have the recording? I will send it to the media and tell them to praise this man.

Everyone applauded and cheered that the city had overcome the crisis.

Then, someone said, “We must reward them and punish Ethan Rivers for his wicked deeds. His despicable actions must be unveiled and made known to everyone in the country.” 

“You’re right. Locking him up is not enough. People should know know how wicked he is.” 

Simon was happy listening to the comments. He wanted exactly that so that he could crush Ethan. 

Once Ethan made the headlines, the man’s life would be over, and it would be impossible for him to make a comeback anymore. As the public enemy of the country, people would have no respect for him. 

Someone then said to Simon, “You have a good son, Simon.”

After the meeting, some of them went to the media while Simon gave Stephen a call. 

“Stephen, you did great this time. By tomorrow, the reporters will be asking you for an interview. You should get prepared.“. 

Stephen was delighted to hear that reporters would be interviewing him tomorrow. If the news was from his father, the interview might be broadcast across the country. 

“And tell Shawn, Eric, and Brandon to prepare as well. They will be interviewed as well.”
