Ethan’s plan was for Howard to restrain all local entities and change Seaside City for the 

better. 

The city’s positive transformation would strike those people that times were changing, and brute force was unnecessary in the pursuit of happiness. Once violence was put aside, they would be ready to address the issues in the city. 

Three years had passed since, and Ethan felt that the time was right. However, he was put behind bars before Howard could get the instructions for the next step. 

Without those orders, Seaside City was just one step away from gaining peace, but news arrived that Crestwood was stirring up trouble again. Howard immediately rallied his team to keep Crestwood in check, stopping them from causing havoc in Seaside City. 

Meanwhile, Stephen received the file on Howard, and his brows furrowed as he read on. 

Howard used to be the leader of an entity. While he did not have blood on his hands, he had Wounded many, and his men had blood on their hands. 

“He’s a murderer.” 

Stephen read on. 

Three years ago, Howard suddenly took Ethan’s side, and Ethan built him an empire. Today, that very business had made it the top in Seaside City, dominating the local market. 

“I’m sure something else is going on.” Stephen narrowed his eyes. “But this is dirt I can use to blackmail Howard.” 

Stephen slammed the evidence on the table. He could make the shady dealing public if 

Howard refused to take orders from him. 

He had enough dirt on Howard to put him behind bars, and Howard’s business would naturally fall into his hands. 

“If he goes along with my plan, he and his business will be mine. If he refuses, he can rot in jail for the rest of his life. Plus, I get his company too. Either way, I’m getting something.” 

Stephen laughed. 

“Ethan really messed up by choosing Howard as his subordinate. This guy practically handed me a gift wrapped in a bow.‘ 

With that thought, he tidied the file and evidence before taking a flight to Seaside City. He was determined to bag Howard as soon as possible. 

Once that was done, he would take Howard to meet Ethan. The look on Ethan’s face when he realized that his beloved subordinate was now Stephen’s would be priceless.
