Aria held the necklace and scornfully sized up Shania as she said to the man beside her, “Lowich, it seems we shouldn’t have visited Dorodo. It’s much worse than Crosac. Besides, as the daughter of the mayor of Dorodo, she can’t even afford a necklace, which is so embarrassing. I’m mortified to think that she and I are both daughters of a mayor!”
“Yeah, she doesn’t deserve to be the mayor’s daughter…” The man Aria called Lowich smacked his lips and said.
Shania’s cheeks turned red instantly. However, it was not because of shyness but anger!
She was Mayor Quentin’s daughter. She deserved to be the daughter of a mayor, of course. However, Aria laughed at her.
How could she endure it?
“Who says I can’t afford it? I’ll buy it now!”
Shania then stretched her hand to Aria and said, “Give me the necklace. I’ll buy it now!”
“Forget about it, Shania. Do you have that much money on you? Don’t tell me you’re going to max out your credit card,” Aria said with a chuckle.
Shania did plan to use her credit card to buy it. After all, she did not have that much cash on her.
All the bank cards in her purse added up to only half a million dollars.
Although she was Quentin’s daughter, Quentin would not let her spend lavishly. He gave her an allowance of no more than a million dollars a month.
