Aria glanced at Maurina with a sneer and said haughtily, “Anyways, I’m the daughter of the mayor of Crosac. It’s presumptuous of you to talk to me like that. Lowich, teach him a lesson!”
“Yes, Miss!” Lowich replied in acknowledgment and suddenly threw a punch at Maurina.
Shania was so shocked that she could not help but scream. However, she then realized that she had overreacted.
It was because Maurina had firmly caught Lowich’s seemingly swift and powerful punch.
Besides that, Maurina rotated Lowich’s entire arm 180 degrees just by twisting his wrist, causing Lowich’s expression to change dramatically as he screamed in pain.
Maurina unapologetically pressed down, and Lowich dropped to one knee. He struggled to get up but failed!
Aria’s expression instantly changed at the sight of this. She never expected the ordinary man before her to be so strong!
Lowich was a bodyguard her father had hired for her. He was said to be able to take on more than five special forces soldiers singlehandedly. However, he was powerless against the young man!
“Can you return the necklace to Ms. Lewis now?” Maurina asked with a smile.
Aria was upset, but her bodyguard would probably lose his arm if she did not do what Maurina said.
She had no choice but to shove the necklace into Shania’s outstretched hand.
“Here’s your necklace!” Aria said angrily.
Maurina only loosened his grip slightly once Shania got the necklace.
Lowich quickly backed away, moving his arms and threatening, “l was careless. Do it again if you have the balls. I won’t lose to you!
Maurina ignored him, turning a deaf ear to his words.
Aria said with a sneer, “I gave you back the necklace, but can you afford it? An 800 thousand dollar necklace isn’t something a bodyguard like you can afford!”
