“Mr. Lennon, you’re a miracle doctor. You’re a modern miracle doctor! You’ve literally given me a second life. I can’t even express my gratitude with 30 million.” He said as he took something out of his arms.
He took it to find a black card embedded with a gold rose emblem.
“Please accept this card. Let us know if there’s anything the Carver family can do for you, and well do everything we can for you.”
Eleanor who followed Michael had also changed her attitude toward Josua. She now looked at Molie with adoration and respect.
“Dr. Lennon, you’re amazing. It’s wrong of me to say such outrageous things to you before. Please forgive me.”
Molie chuckled. “To be honest, I’m also new to Ocean City. I came over to start a business. I think it will be a lot easier to do business if I have some connections…”
“You may rest assured of that. I’ll help you if I can,” Michael replied right away, already thinking about how to help Josua.
He could not help but glance at his granddaughter.
To be honest, all grandfathers would want their granddaughter to marry a capable man.
Michael’s first impression of Molie was that he was capable, and he was many times more capable than Mitchell. Though Mitchell and his granddaughter were about to get engaged, they could call it off. Besides, his granddaughter had completely changed her attitude toward Josua.
“Dr. Lennon! To tell you the truth, my granddaughter has been complimenting you in private these days. She called you a modern Hippocrates with miraculous medical skills. You’re also bold and charming.”
“Grandpa!” Eleanor said coquettishly as she held Michael’s arm.
There was no way Molie could not tell what Michael meant.
As soon as Michael said this, he realized he was wrong and quickly shut up. He gave Molie a stiff smile and patted his cheek.
