After hearing Jagoan’s words, Michael, who made some movements originally, returned to his previous vegetative appearance.
“It will take some time for your body to return to its normal state. In the meantime, you can stay at Optimus Clinic for a while. I’ll tell others I can’t cure you and let Kennedy and Curtis enjoy their victory for a while before I knock them down from the top later.”
After Jagoan said that, Michael’s eyelids moved as if he agreed with what Jagoan said.
Seeing this, Jagoan’s smile widened. Then, he pulled out the silver needles on Michael’s body, opened the room door, and let Theodore and one discreet member of the Carver family into the room.
After the two entered the room, both of them looked confusedly at Jagoan when they saw that Michael in the hospital bed still had no movements.
“Don’t tell anyone what I’m telling you now!” Jagoan said.
Seeing Jagoan so serious, Theodore and Theodore immediately nodded in agreement.
Jagoan then said, “Old Master Carver is conscious, but he’s still very weak and will need some time to recover. Tell the people outside that I failed to cure Old Master Carver. Don’t let the Lake family know that Old Master Carver is conscious.”
The two were not stupid, so they knew what Jagoan meant.
“Don’t worry, Mr. Lennon. I’ll do whatever you say!”
The Carver family member assured, beating their chests and beaming with excitement.
Michael was the Carver family’s anchor. Now that Michael recovered, any of the Carver family members would be excited, of course.
Theodore also smiled with excitement and said, “Mr. Lennon is a brilliant doctor. I thank you on Ol’ Carver’s behalf, Mr. Lennon!”
“Old Master Davis, you’re too kind. If I hadn’t dragged you and Old Master Carver into this battle, Old Master Carver wouldn’t have ended up like this.” Jagoan waved his hand, shook his head with a smile, and said.
Jagoan shook his head with a smile and said nothing more.
