Fen Qin rose out of bed, holding her aching head. "It's that dream again." She grunted knowing how it haunted her again and again. It was like an endless dream that she could never stop seeing. Feeling her body shake once more, she knew that time was valuable for her. "I'm almost done making it." She got out of bed, washing herself first before she started the day.
Looking through her book, she had looked over what herbs she had used to make the antidote. "I have everything except... Grain Ivy. I have to see if I can get any from Herb Valley if they have any. Herb Valley can take time to travel to. That's why I only go once in awhile." Fen Qin then thought about Xue Yahui. 'I'm gonna have to ask him if he has any before I go to Herb Valley. Grain Ivy is rare to find, but also hard to grow.' Fen Qin decided to see if Xue Yahui had any at all that he grew, but she would ask when he came to visit again.
Hearing knocking at the door, Fen Qin went over to see who it was. Seeing a woman in her early teen years, she was on her knees. "Who are you?" Fen Qin looked down to the woman who looked up to her.
"I-I was sent here."
Fen Qin didn't know who she was, nor did she understand why the woman would be sent to her. 'How did she know where I lived?' Fen Qin then thought since there weren't a lot of folks who knew where she lived. Being given a small folded letter, Fen Qin took it.
"Dear Fen Qin,
This young girl was tossed aside from her family. I do not have the time to take care of her, nor do I have any more duties and tasks for her to handle in my home. That's why I've sent her here for you to take in. Please do not harm her in any way. Her family before had hurt her so badly that I wish for you to heal her with time." - He Lanying
'No wonder. It's Mu Shao Qing's sister-in-law.' Fen Qin rubbed her head seeing how she was known by a few folks that knew where she lived. "What is your name?" Fen Qin looked down to the girl who looked up to her.
"My name is Zeng Mingzhu." The woman looked to Fen Qin unsure if she was kind or not.
"My name is Fen Qin. Come in." Fen Qin could see the girl follow her inside. She had noticed the bruises on the girl's body knowing that they were not in accident. "Sit over there." Fen Qin pointed to a chair in the kitchen while she grabbed a few medicine cream from her shelf. Zeng Mingzhu kept looking around the entire time around the place with no clue about it. Fen Qin opened her palm with Zeng Mingzhu staring at her. "Your hand."
Zeng Mingzhu shook while giving her hand for Fen Qin to see. Fen Qin saw the bruises and cuts on Zeng Mingzhu which had her think back about her past. "Who could have done such a thing?" Fen Qin rubbed the medicine onto the wounds and bruises. Seeing it heal slowly, her medicine had improved within the amount of time she spent on it. "My medicine always works. Let's go to the washroom. I have to tend to your other wounds and injuries."
Fen Qin had Zeng Mingzhu follow her to the washroom. The place was huge from how Zeng Mingzhu saw it. "Huge..." Fen Qin heard Zeng Mingzhu say, but she did not bother.
