"Grandpa Charles, are you alright?" Natalie immediately sensed something was wrong and stepped forward to pat his back, telling him to relax.

Hector quickly stepped close to check Charles' pulse as well. "Sheldon, the medicine."

Sheldon quickly took out the medicine Natalie had provided earlier, poured out a pill, and handed it to Hector.

"Water."

Sheldon turned to fetch a cup of water.

Hector couldn't help but frown. He wondered what was wrong with Sheldon.

The butler was usually observant. But even after noticing Charles' condition, he only reacted after being instructed at every step.

Soon, Sheldon returned with a cup of water. Marcus stepped forward and said, "Sheldon, you can leave now."

"Mr. Marcus, I—"

"Yvette, why?" Charles took a deep breath as he asked, "Vivian is already dead. Why would you say such things to tarnish her name?

"You even claim that Cassie isn't my daughter. That's impossible. Your sister and I loved each other. We had a happy family.

"There was no way she would have betrayed me. Yvette, how could you slander Vivian like that? She's your sister!" Charles shouted at the end of his rant.

Yvette replied coldly, "Charles, if you think I'm slandering her, why don't you do a paternity test with Cassie?

"Why are you questioning me? Do you not believe it, or are you afraid of the results? Why would I go out of my way to frame a dead woman?

"Why would I spend all these years meticulously setting up this plan? All these years, I've been living in hiding, for what reason? Charles, don't tell me you didn't know."

Her icy, composed demeanor was a sharp contrast with Charle's agitated look, making him look inferior in the exchange.

"No, it's impossible." Suddenly, Charles grabbed Hector by the wrist. "Hector, do the test for me. Get it done as fast as possible. Sheldon, go to my study and retrieve Cassie's old tooth. Now!"

"I'll go get it!" Marcus stood up. Sheldon had already been dismissed. Even if he were there, he was in no state to handle this task.

Marcus turned and went to Charles' study. After a while, he returned with two small boxes.

"This is my father's, and this is Cassie's. Hector, sorry to trouble you."

Marcus handed the two boxes over to Hector. "Since we're doing this, do one for my father too!"

Then, he turned to Charles. "Grandpa, bear with the pain a little."
