Chapter 101 Do Not Try To Stop Me
Samuel felt completely powerless as if his punches were hitting nothing but air.
He thought he was standing up for Raylee, but now he was just left frustrated and angry.
“I’m not your brother–in–law. I will never let my sister marry a scum like you!” Samuel shot back, his voice sharp.
“Oh, I’m a scum? Then what does that make you? Some kind of hero? Let’s not forget, you’re the one who pushed Ray–Ray into the pool not that long ago, She almost drowned because of you.”
Samuel went quiet, a mix of guilt and sadness flashing in his eyes.
Jeremiah was right.
He had hurt Raylee badly in the past. Who was he to call Jeremiah a scum?
Jeremiah didn’t let up, his words cutting deep. “You pushed her into the pool, nearly got her killed, and I locked her in the water dungeon. At the end of the day, we’re not so different. So don’t act like you’re better than me. Between the two of us, it’s Just a question of who’s worse. Am I right, Mr. Goodridge?”
“Right? What part of any of this is right?” Samuel’s face turned red, his rage boiling over. “I’m nothing like you. Ray–Ray is my sister. Yeah, we’ve had our fights, but I’ve never once thought about intentionally hurting her! What you did to her–the lies, the manipulation–that was all on purpose. There’s a huge difference between an accident and doing something deliberately. It’s like the difference between manslaughter and murder! And you, you killed someone years ago and were sentenced to death for it. You’re the real scum here. You should’ve been in hell a long time ago.”
The mention of jeremiah’s past was like lighting a fuse. His expression darkened, and his emotions exploded.
“Shut up! Don’t you dare say another word!”
Samuel was caught off guard by his reaction.
Jeremiah could handle a fight, but emotional turmoil was his weakness.
Sensing his advantage, Samuel said with smug confidence, “Can’t handle your own dirty laundry being aired, can you? You murderer! I heard you killed someone because the woman you loved was violated. So what if you killed the rapist? Didn’t she still take her own life out of humiliation? You couldn’t even protect the woman you loved. You’re nothing but a coward, a weakling!”
“I told you to shut up! Say another word and I’ll kill you!”
Jeremiah grabbed Samuel by the collar, his dark eyes blazing with fury, ready to tear him apart..
Samuel met his rage head–on, his tone dripping with disdain. “Go ahead, prove nte wrong. You’re a coward, a weakling, a pushover. You couldn’t even save her. What’s the point of you being alive at all! You might as well just drop dead! Oh, that’s right, if it weren’t for the protection of the Lorimer family, you would’ve met your end ages ago!”
Jeremiah clenched his fist, delivering a harsh punch right on Samuel’s nose.
The punch was brutal, forcing Samuel to stagger backward. Blood streamed from Samuel’s nostrils, the sharp metallic scent filling the air.
He wiped his nose with his hand, only to see it smeared with vivid red.
“Damn it, I’m going to kill you!” Samuel roared, charging forward, and the two began to exchange blows.
At that moment, as Casimir drove away from the hospital, he caught sight of the chaotic scene unfolding at the entrance
The two were drenched in blood, their faces, hair, and clothes stained a vivid crimson.
The ground was also smeared with blood.
They were determined to pummel the other into submission

One more blow could easily turn fatal.
Finished
Casimir, stunned by the scene, slammed on the brakes and leaped out of the car. Sprinting toward the brawling pair, he shouted, “Stop! Both of you, stop!”
But their rage consumed them, and they paid no heed to his pleas.
