"You should not have hidden something from me, I'm your wife and I can face everything with you." Iory Ted cut the apple into small pieces and fed it into his mouth. Her eyes were still red and swollen, which was the mark of crying. It had only been a day and a night since she had heard that her husband was terminally ill and then cried bitterly in his arms, now she had accepted it with equanimity.
Life and death were decreed by fate and we could not give up any hope. Every time Norton Geve went on a business trip, he would take Iory Ted with him. Now Iory finally understood why he had been in a hurry on business trips last year and did not even have time to pack his bags home. It turned out that he had been to the hospital. She was his wife and it was he had held up one day for her all these years, she depended on him and now she could not give up even if he was down. she wanted to take care of him as long as she lived even if he died first and wanted him to see that she was strong enough and let him go at ease.
"I'm sorry." Norton Geve apologized, which was like a child who had made mistakes.
Olive Steele stood at the door and looked at them, not knowing what to do. It was Iory Ted noticed them at first and she remembered Olive and the man next to her but just was stunned to see Alan Hoyle's hand on Olive's waist. If she remembered correctly, Alan had been engaged to another woman and had announced their marriage, but why was Olive with him? Iory was going to ask Norton who seemed to know something about them.
Olive Steele put the flowers in the case on the table, "Are you feeling better, Mr. Geve?"
Norton Geve felt much better than the night before and said powerfully, "Very good. Don't treat me as a severe patient and I can show up in the company tomorrow to admonish all of you."
Olive laughed, "Yes, we'll listen with respectful attention."
Iory Ted glared at him accusingly, "Just a little bit better and you're restless."
"So, auntie, you have to teach him a lesson." Olive said.
"You called her auntie but called me as Mr. Geve, which was strange and unfair." Norton Geve said crossly. He did not know if he could see his daughter in his lifetime and he found spiritual ballast in Olive when he was about to die. He did not know why he was close to her.
Olive Steele laughed, "Yes, my dearest uncle, just recuperate in the peace of mind and I'll timely report to you what happens in the Angel."
Olive called him as her dearest uncle, which made Norton grin from ear to ear, and then he asked, "How is the case about Qin Ling?"
