The Invincible Arthur Gardner novel Chapter 50

Alicia opened the door to her apartment, her face lighting up with happiness as she jumped inside and turned to face Arthur.

"Welcome to my new home, Arthur Oppa," she said. "Come on in!"

Arthur smiled, then stepped into the room, which was one floor wide. The setting of the room was a combination of minimalism and modernity, complete with a wide range of facilities that allowed someone to live comfortably, although it wasn't as expensive and luxurious as his room in the Golden Chamber.

"Did you spend all the money I gave you to buy this apartment room, Alicia?" Arthur asked, trailing after her as they approached a set of sofas near a large-looking glass that overlooked the building and the city beyond.

"Aren't you spending your money too much?" he continued, settling into the sofa next to her.

"Why?" Alicia smiled. Her expression was friendly. "At least I didn't spend tens of billions of dollars to rescue a damsel in distress, did I?" she replied, her laughter bubbling up.

"But...," Alicia interjected, quickly throwing her hands up to show she was only joking. "I'm just kidding, Arthur Oppa... I know you didn't do it for that purpose. Moreover, I'm sure Claudina is not a woman you can buy with money..."

Arthur leaned back into the plush comfort of the sofa, basking in the warm sunlight that streamed through the wide window in front of him.

"And how did you feel when Claudina expressed her love for you in front of millions of people, Oppa?" Alicia asked, a wide smile illuminating her face.

"Why are you asking the same thing Edna asked?" he replied.

"Is Edna your lovely personal assistant?" she added, her face lighting up with excitement. "I want to know her too... She is very beautiful and charming."

"Sure," Arthur said, turning to Alicia. "You'll be working with her a lot after accepting my offer to work for me too."

"Hum!" Alicia answered with a sweet nod. Her glossy black hair cascaded forward, framing her soft white face, which was delicate and radiant.

With her half-Asian blood, Alicia looked even younger than her nineteen years of age. She usually acted like a child, but she could be very stern and assertive when someone dared to provoke her. She was able to completely conceal her ferocity behind her soft, cute, and harmless appearance.

Alicia then stood up, her wavy hair slightly covering her face. "Arthur Oppa," she began. "I have prepared some Korean food for you. Would you like to have lunch with me?"

"Korean food?" Arthur replied. "Sure, sounds good!" He then stood up and followed Alicia to the dining table.

Arthur then seated himself at the dining table, where Alicia was seen bustling about, preparing their lunch for that afternoon.

"Wow, did you make all this food, Alicia?" he asked, astonished.

"Ha!" Alicia was taken aback, then she turned to Arthur with a wide-eyed, innocent expression. However, she quickly broke into a light chuckle. "Do you think I'm Claudina that has a heavenly voice and is even good at cooking?" she asked, her voice full of amusement.

"I can only kick a man in the face, and talk sweetly when I'm a vtuber," she added.
