"Marcus, Tristan's asleep, huh? Are you hungry? What do you fancy? I can order something from the hotel."

Marcus didn't react to her voice; he just calmly turned to look at her. "We've been eating hotel food a lot these past few days.

Tristan and I both find the dishes either too greasy or too bland.

It's not satisfying. Why don't you go buy some groceries and we can cook something ourselves?"

This was the first time Marcus had made such a request. Sophia furrowed her brow in confusion. "But... neither of us really knows how to cook."

"We can learn. Life should have a bit of homey charm. That's what makes it interesting."
