The Kiss that Sparked it All (Ellinor and Theo) novel Chapter 1483

Chapter 1483

Adrian sat up, scratching his temple in confusion. "Dad... what are you talking about? I don't quite understand."

The man sternly responded, "You're not my son."

Adrian was taken aback. The guilt on his face was impossible to hide. He grimaced and, after a while, confessed. "Okay, I admit...

I'm not your son, Tristan."

Marcus, seeing the honesty in the boy, raised an eyebrow. "Why are you pretending to be my son and coming home with me? Did someone instruct you to do this? What's your objective?"

Adrian quickly shook his head, raising his hands in a plea of innocence. "No, not at all! I don't have any ulterior motives! I just thought you were handsome and that you have a fatherly vibe. I've never had a father growing up, so I wanted to see what it feels like."

Marcus looked at the boy's sincere and pitiful expression, feeling an indescribable tug at his heart.

He had many suspicions, one of which was whether this boy had been disguised by someone to replace his real son, Tristan, to spy on his life with Sophia.

But he couldn't find any traces of disguise on the boy's face. It felt just like real skin.

So he dismissed that suspicion.

Marcus then asked, "When did you replace my son?"

He had a rough idea, remembering when his son started acting differently. He just wanted to confirm it.

Adrian shrugged. "It really wasn't intentional. It was all a coincidence. On Saturday, Mom took me and my siblings for a picnic. There on the lawn, I saw someone flying a Mechanical Hero kite.

It turned out the mom he was looking for wasn't Sophia, but his real mom.

So the problem was, why did his son look exactly like some other woman's son?

Face resemblance sometimes happened but could it really be this coincidental?

After pondering for a while, Marcus said again, "Call your mom, give her our address, and ask her to return my son. Also, tell her if anything happens to Tristan, I won't let her off."

Adrian furrowed his brows. "Don't worry. My mom is super nice.

Your son, Tristan, was probably mistaken for me because we look alike. My mom will treat him really well."

Marcus considered himself to be a cautious and skeptical person, but for this absurd situation at hand, he didn't feel particularly anxious.
