After regaining her composure, Amanda smiled and said, “Aiden, it’s me.”

“Mommy, are you feeling better? Daddy said you were sick and unwell, so you haven’t called me in the past few days.”

Amanda laughed. “Who do you think you are to ask me that? What gives you the right to let Symeon keep my son? What gives you the right to destroy the happiness of our family of three? If it weren’t for you, Elias would not have had a car accident and lost his memory; if not for you, how could I have been separated from my baby? And now, you have the nerve to ask me why I did this?!”

After saying that, Amanda hung up the phone.
