Chapter 503 Have You Regained Your Memory?
At this moment, Melissa’s face turned pale, her body trembling slightly, tears welling up in her eyes as she shook her head. “No! It’s not true! I didn’t do it! I have no grudges against her. Why would I frame her? I didn’t do it!”
“I heard that you were locked in an underground secret room. You kept a three-year-old child in the basement. Do you think you deserve to be a mother?” Amanda prodded.
Melissa suddenly shouted angrily, “Isn’t all of this your fault? You deceived him and made him arrest me everywhere. Why are you pretending to be a good person now? Hypocrite!
“You can lie to everyone for the sake of your child, so why can’t I?”
The next moment, Melissa grabbed Amanda’s shoulders and shook her violently. “Why did you come here? Why did you let him catch me? If you had given me a little more time, we could all have a happy ending. But you’re so selfish, only thinking of yourself! You have Elias, but what do I have? How can Elias possibly let his son stay here forever? Sooner or later, he will take the child away, but what about me? I can only rely on myself, fighting for a chance. to keep Dulcie by my side. Why won’t you just let me do that?”
As Melissa spoke, she broke down and cried out loud.
Symeon’s face was filled with astonishment, his eyes wide open, unblinking as he stared at Melissa. It seemed like his entire body’s blood was flowing in reverse.
So, the little girl in the secret room is my daughter?
Symeon was stunned, unable to utter a word, his brain seemingly struggling to catch up with the revelations.
Meanwhile, Elias had already stood up and stepped forward. He forcefully pushed Melissa to the ground and shielded Amanda behind him. He looked at the woman on the ground coldly and said, “Take your dirty hands off her. Your daughter should feel ashamed for having a mother like you.”
After saying that, he turned to Symeon. “Now, do you still have any reason to keep my son detained? Release my son immediately. I don’t wish to engage in any further discussions with you, nor do I want to interfere in your family matters. Handle it on your own.”
Symeon withdrew his gaze, stood up, and looked coldly at Elias. “Whether it’s true or not, I have to verify it. After the test, I will let you leave. You will have to stay here during this period because I also want to check the DNA test results between you and Aiden. If it turns out that the child is not yours, you should thank me for finding out that you have been deceived.”

Elias sneered. “That’s impossible!”
When he was in Cludan, he never believed in Amanda and thought she was deceiving him. However, in this very moment, faced with Symeon’s skepticism, he strangely had no hesitation and completely believed that Amanda would never betray him.
Symeon didn’t say anything further and turned to the butler. “Arrange guest rooms for them I want to oversee the DNA test personally, and no one else is allowed to interfere.”
“Yes!” The butler nodded.
Melissa, who was on the side, panicked.
If the DNA test revealed that Dulcie was Symeon’s daughter, she may never see Dulcie again in her lifetime.
Late at night.
Amanda lay in bed, unable to fall asleep. Despite being so close to Aiden, she couldn’t go see him. It was simply torture.
At that very moment, Elias was staying in the room next door.
This was all a deliberate arrangement by Symeon. He knew that they were married, yet he purposely arranged for them to stay in separate rooms.
Suddenly, there was a knock on the door.
Amanda got up, put on her robe, walked to the door, and opened it to find Elias’ tall, handsome figure standing outside.
“What’s the matter? Why aren’t you sleeping?”
“I can’t sleep, so I came to find you.”
“So, finding me will help you sleep? I can’t sleep either,” she said, feeling puzzled.
Elias simply entered her room, closed her door, and turned to look at her. “We’re husband and wife. Why do we have to sleep in separate rooms? Symeon did it on purpose. Does that align with your wishes too?”
Amanda’s heart tightened.
Since Elias had the accident, the two of them had never slept in the same bed again. Moreover, he had amnesia and didn’t believe her at all, rejecting her. How could he be

willing to share a bed with her?
What does he mean now?
Amanda asked, “So, you no longer have any doubts about me? Do you completely believe what I say?”
“At the very least, I believe that we are still legally married and haven’t divorced. Since we haven’t divorced, why should we sleep in separate rooms?”
Amanda found herself unable to argue. Whether it was before or after his amnesia, she wasn’t a match for him.
Elias went straight to her bed, leaned against the headboard, and looked at her. “Come over. I have some questions for you.”
Amanda, filled with questions, got back into bed and looked at the man’s relaxed sleeping posture. “What do you want to ask?”
“Did anything happen between you and Symeon when you were here?”
As soon as these words were spoken, Amanda’s anger flared up instantly. “What do you mean, Elias? So, you still suspect that I betrayed you! You believe those words from Symeon, thinking that I cheated on you!”
