Chapter 504 Why Are You So Close to Me? 

“Do you not remember anything?” 

Amanda felt somewhat frustrated. It had been such a long time, yet Elias couldn’t remember anything. 

What hurt her most was that Elias had even forgotten the way he used to love her. 

Elias remained silent, his gaze fixed on her. 

She sighed, feeling helpless as she leaned back on the bed. She didn’t want to talk anymore. 

He furrowed his brow. “What’s with that expression? I may not remember now, but it doesn’t mean I’ll never remember. Why do you look so disheartened?” 

“But do you remember how you used to love me? I look like a stranger to you now, don’t I?” 

“Of course not. At least we’re legally married, so you look more familiar than a stranger.” 

Amanda was left utterly speechless. This despicable man was driving her crazy. 

Looking at her angry and helpless expression, Elias oddly found her somewhat adorable. Gentle ripples of affection began to stir in his heart. 

“I don’t have anything to say to you now. Your injuries haven’t completely healed. You should sleep on the bed, and I’ll sleep on the couch.” 

Just as Amanda was about to get up and leave, Elias extended his long arm, pulling her back. into his embrace. 

Suddenly, Elias’ handsome face drew near hers. Amanda instinctively pushed him away, almost falling off the bed. 

Fortunately, Elias quickly caught her and pulled her back onto the bed, pressing her underneath him. This ambiguous position made the atmosphere in the room extremely awkward. 

Amanda looked at the man pinning her down. His face was so close to hers. 

She couldn’t remember the last time she had been this close to Elias. He was still as handsome as ever, and in those dark eyes, there was only her. 

“Why are you so close to me and pressing down on me?” Amanda’s voice suddenly became incredibly soft 

Elias looked at her delicate face, and his heart slowly accepted the fact that she was the woman he deeply loved. He also understood why he had loved Amanda so much in the

“We’re husband and wife. Why can’t I be this close to you? Why can’t I press down on you?” He shamelessly retorted. 

Amanda’s cheeks instantly turned as red as a ripe tomato. She turned her head away, too embarrassed to meet his eyes. 

“Didn’t you completely mistrust me before? Go away!” 

It had been a long time since they had been intimate, and she felt a bit uncomfortable. Moreover, Elias was experiencing amnesia. She felt like she was with a completely different 

man. 

Elias, on the other hand, adjusted her head and looked straight into her eyes. “I trust you now. Otherwise, why would I endure the discomfort and come all the way here with you?” 

Amanda remained silent, gazing into his eyes. Once again, she found herself falling for him. 

She could never run away from Elias. Every time they met, she would fall for him.

Elias lay on the bed and closed his eyes, feeling resigned. The atmosphere he had so carefully built had been ruined.

Symeon sneered. “Why wouldn’t there be anything to say? You and Melissa made a fool out of me, and now you want to escape unscathed? How can there be nothing left to say?”
