However, Amanda held onto his hand. “You have another meeting this afternoon. Let’s not. go out. We can just have something in the company cafeteria. After eating, you can take a nap, or else, how will you have the energy to yell at people in the afternoon?”

“Pretty Miss, can you come over and play with me? I’m so bored all alone, and Daddy has gone to work. He won’t be back until late.”

After hanging up the phone, Casey was filled with anticipation. She hailed a cab and told the driver, “Galaxy Bay, please.” 

She eagerly looked forward to spending time with that little bundle of joy. She had missed. three whole years of Dulcie’s life, and now that Dulcie was three years old, Casey was determined to make up for lost time.
