The Man's Decree novel Chapter 935

Chapter 935 Retire

Jared and Rayleigh hung out on the deck after they boarded the boat.

“You made so much noise when you participate in the competition in the Department of Justice’s place. If things keep progressing this way, your identity will be exposed before the intended time. In fact, I think the Deragons have already noticed you. Do they already know you are the person they have been searching for?” asked Rayleigh.

Jared shook his head. “I don’t know that for sure, but I think I saw Ryker.”

“What? He went to you?” asked Rayleigh. He was surprised to hear that.

“It happened when I was in the arena. He was hiding among the audience, and had a hat and mask on. Still, I can sense that it was him,” replied Jared calmly.

Rayleigh frowned. “This is bad. If you can sense him, then that means he must’ve sensed your aura and blood’s origin, too. He must’ve learned who you are then, and I’m guessing, by now, the rest of the Deragons already know about you.”

Rayleigh had a worried expression on. Jared had become incredibly powerful, but he still wasn’t a match against the Deragons. If Ryker learned about the truth and sent his men to go after Jared…

Jared will have nothing to protect himself with.

“There is nothing to worry about. I’m sure everything will turn out fine.”

Things had already progressed to that extent, so Jared had accepted his fate. At that point, the only thing he could do was have faith that everything will be okay.

“Well, I guess there’s nothing we can do about that. However, you are a member of the Department of Justice now. That organization might not be strong, but it is a part of the government. If you can impress one of the higher-ups, it is likely the Deragons won’t be able to go after you,” said Rayleigh to share his analysis.

Jared nodded. That was exactly what he thought as well. He wasn’t strong enough, so he needed help from government officials to rid himself of all the people who were out to kill him.

Unfortunately, the Department of Justice was simply too weak. Theodore might be the General of the Department of Justice, but he didn’t actually have much power. In fact, his title offered so little power that Jared’s enemy might even look down on him.
